A Kentucky influencer in the DIY and crafting community is facing several charges after being accused of possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material through a popular online app.

As stated on their website, “Kik is an iOS and Android app that lets you connect with friends and groups from all around the world through messaging, chatting, and live streaming.” According to reports, a 39-year-old man who uses the online handle of “Mr. Crafty Pants” on his YouTube channel and has a following of approximately 600,000, was reportedly believed to have an active account on the Kik app.

At the beginning of August, the authorities received information from someone who believed the man was using the Kik account, which was determined to be his based on two selfie pictures associated with it, to send sexually explicit content depicting children. When they investigated the claims, they allegedly found multiple occasions where the man sent pictures of children under 12 years old, and several more with youngsters over the age of 12.

A man in Wisconsin is facing serious charges after allegedly using AI to create realistic images of youngsters in sexual situations and sharing some of the pictures with a teenage boy.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has made a huge splash in current society and it has various uses. Some AI models and programs create digital photos that can easily be mistaken as authentic, which grants users the ability to often successfully pass off fake images for real ones.

According to reports, last Fall, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children was alerted about someone believed to have digital media containing explicit pictures of children. Law enforcement became involved and they started watching the man’s online activity. In a short time, they reportedly collected enough information to ask a judge to grant them a warrant to confiscate his computers so they could search for illegal content.

A Florida woman was taken into custody after she was accused of putting plastic Easter eggs filled with pornography and random items inside mailboxes at residences all over the county.

On April 5, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office reported that they started receiving complaints from many people who said they had found a plastic Easter egg filled with lewd images in their mailboxes.

Three nights later, the authorities said that calls resumed from disturbed residents in a different area with the same claims of finding toy plastic eggs filled with sexually explicit content in their mailboxes. Some of the callers additionally reported that they identified the person driving around distributing the allegedly offensive items as female.

A high school student who reportedly filmed a classmate while they were masturbating in the bathroom on campus allegedly passed the video around the school, and he is being charged with a felony for the accusations.

In an incident that was believed to have occurred last week, 18-year-old Armando Flores was in the bathroom at Braden River High School where he is enrolled as a student.

While he was there, Flores reportedly noticed that one of the other students appeared to be masturbating inside of a stall and he allegedly grabbed his cell phone to record the act. Flores was said to have angled the camera over the top of the restroom stall to capture the video.
