A woman in Tennessee ended up behind bars after allegedly attempting to evict a family from an apartment by setting off multiple bug bombs while they were inside the dwelling with their youngster.

According to reports, on July 2, a woman with tenants in her apartment tried to shorten the sometimes lengthy and complicated eviction process. The family living in the unit has a 4-year-old child, and her alleged methods disregarded the health and safety of those inside.

The woman had reportedly previously tried to get the family to move out, and when they refused, she reached out to the police to see if they could help her with her dilemma. The officers told her there was nothing they could do to assist her, but they let her know there was a specific civil process she needed to follow if she wanted to carry out an eviction. She was reportedly unsatisfied with her option and allegedly made her way to a local store where she was said to have purchased several bug bomb foggers.
