A homeowner is facing charges after allegedly throwing coffee on a woman, her baby, and their dog when she became upset that they were walking the canine near her house without a leash.

The alleged incident was said to have occurred on the morning of November 14, near a private residence. A woman had been walking with her infant and their dog when the encounter took place. According to her account of the events, she was passing along an easement outside a locked gate. Her dog was not leashed but was reportedly walking close beside her as she neared the property, where the homeowner was outside with her own dog.

The woman told authorities that the homeowner began shouting about the lack of a leash. She stated that the homeowner then threw coffee at her dog while expressing frustration about a past incident involving a dog. The woman said she responded verbally, and the homeowner moved closer to the gate, reportedly closing the distance before throwing coffee that struck both the woman and her baby. After the liquid hit them, the woman began recording the exchange on her phone.

A man is facing charges after bringing his wife who suffers from dementia to the fair with a dog leash affixed around her so that she would not get lost. He allegedly pulled on the leash hard enough to result in injury.

66-year-old Walter William Wolford Sr. and his wife Catherine, accompanied by their son and daughter-in-law, went to the York Fair in Pennsylvania on Saturday, where Wolford and his wife also reportedly visited last year.

Wolford said that during their previous visit, Catherine, who has late-stage dementia, had roamed away from him and she was not found for over an hour, so he decided that he would use a nylon dog leash around her waist in order to prevent a repeat of that experience.

Authorities reported that they responded to an incident on Monday involving a plastic toy gun employed as a makeshift weapon in an alleged attack after a Florida dog owner used it against a man whose canine was bitten by his dog.

Near 8 p.m. on March 12 31-year-old Thomas Phillips from Gainesville was strolling with his unleashed dog in an area of the Lake Crossing Apartments complex designated as a dog run. 33-year-old Matthew Hester was out for a walk with his dog in the same area, but his dog was contained on a leash.

Phillips’ unrestrained pet allegedly ran from his side advancing on Hester’s dog, biting and attacking him. When Hester reportedly attempted to break up the dogs his pup found a way to wriggle free from the collar and leash it was wearing. He then began using the apparatus as a belt to swing at the attacking dog.
