An Idaho man is facing multiple charges after the authorities reportedly caught him trying to bring methamphetamine and paraphernalia into the jail after he was arrested for driving under the influence.

On the evening of March 16, a 33-year-old man was driving in Bonneville County and allegedly driving over the posted speed limit. A deputy from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office spotted the vehicle, along with a second vehicle that was also reportedly speeding. The deputy believed the drivers were racing, and the 33-year-old was pulled over.

According to reports, when the deputy interacted with the man, he appeared to be displaying indicators of intoxication. He participated in a roadside sobriety test, and when asked if he had been drinking, he allegedly told the deputy he had consumed alcohol earlier in the evening. When his vehicle was searched, several containers of alcohol, some of which were reportedly open, were allegedly discovered. The police took the driver into custody. He was taken to Idaho Falls Community Hospital so he could have his blood drawn to find out his BAC.

An Illinois woman who was arrested on drug charges last year was taken into custody last week for multiple additional narcotics-related offenses.

According to reports, last year on March 11, a woman who was the postmaster of Gallatin County was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine (Class 3), and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A). The 36-year-old woman, who lives in New Haven, was scheduled to appear in court last week regarding those charges. A day before her court date, she found herself again accused of drug-related crimes.

Early in the morning on March 10, the woman was reportedly driving a vehicle without a visible license plate in Mt. Vernon. She caught the attention of officers from the Mt. Vernon Police Department, and they allegedly saw her make a turn without using her signal. They performed a traffic stop, and the woman pulled over without incident.

A Pennsylvania pair are facing charges after fentanyl, three pounds of methamphetamine, and an unconscious passenger were reportedly found in their car during a traffic stop.

On February 28, state police spotted a vehicle driving down the Interstate that they believed was not leaving enough distance between their car and the vehicle in front of them. They performed a traffic stop, and the driver was identified as an 84-year-old local man. It was noted that two women passengers were in the car – a 34-year-old in the front, and a 57-year-old in the back seat who appeared to be sleeping.

When they tried to wake her, the troopers reported that she had no pulse, and they gave her CPR until a team of emergency medical technicians arrived. Her pulse was restored through additional CPR, and she was taken to a local hospital.

Two people from Spokane were arrested last week after the police alleged that they were involved in a mail and check fraud scheme affecting at least 50 alleged victims.

On January 31 in Post Falls, Idaho, a traveler saw a truck stopped in the middle of a traffic lane. The individual believed the driver and passenger were sleeping, and they decided to approach the vehicle. They woke the man and woman and suggested that they park on the side of the road while they slept, but the driver reportedly drove away instead. The person notified the authorities about the situation, and an officer from the Post Falls Police Department quickly found the truck nearby.

After pulling over the truck, a K9 at the scene signaled that they detected narcotics in the vehicle. According to reports, the police found meth paraphernalia, in addition to many pieces of mail addressed to different residences. They also allegedly came across checks they believed were forged by the driver and passenger.

A Louisiana man is facing multiple charges after an 11-year-old brought gummy candy laced with THC to school and gave them to several classmates.

On December 5, an 11-year-old from LaPlace who is enrolled at East John Preparatory Academy left home with a bag of gummy candies that contained THC. He brought them to the school and reportedly shared them with four classmates: two 10-year-olds, an 11-year-old, and a 12-year-old. According to reports, the children ate the candy, and at least one of them became ill enough that they had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

The authorities were notified, and the St. John the Baptist Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation to look into the situation. They found out where the child lived and petitioned the court for a search warrant. When it was authorized, they went to the address, and a man identified as the youngster’s guardian was home. The man allowed the deputies to come into the house without incident. It was reported that when they searched the house, they reportedly discovered several types of illegal narcotics including more than 1,300 grams of THC edibles, multiple tablets believed to be methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.

Chelsea Belle O’Donnell, daughter of Rosie O’Donnell, was arrested on drug-related charges for a third time since October after police allegedly found narcotics and paraphernalia in her vehicle during a traffic stop.

Since the beginning of the fall, Chelsea O’Donnell has been involved in several run-ins with the law resulting in arrests and charges. On September 10, O’Donnell was arrested on suspicion of felony maintaining a drug trafficking place, felony child neglect, felony possession of methamphetamine, and felony possession of THC. Her second arrest on October 11 brought about additional charges for felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of narcotic drugs, and felony bail jumping, in addition to misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Most recently, on November 18, the 27-year-old was driving in Niagara, Wisconsin, when an officer believed her exhaust was too loud and performed a traffic stop. The woman pulled over, and it was learned that she had been out on bond for five days. Her vehicle was searched, and the police allegedly found a pipe believed to be used for smoking meth, and Naloxone. Additional drugs, including lamotrigine, alprazolam, hydrocodone pills, and methamphetamine were reportedly located on her when she was searched at the jail.

An Indiana man is facing charges after being accused of dealing drugs when the police allegedly found a large stash of methamphetamine in his home.

According to reports, on November 1, the authorities went to a residence in Brownstown that they had been investigating. When they arrived, they reportedly smelled marijuana. The owner was not home, and the police got a warrant so they could search the premises. Several Jackson County sheriff’s deputies conducted the search, and they allegedly found nearly 20 grams of methamphetamine, in addition to several pieces of paraphernalia. They called the man who lived there, and he reportedly told them he would come home and meet them. When he did not show up, the authorities assumed it was intentional.

Law enforcement kept an eye out for the suspect. On the morning of November 12, the man’s vehicle was parked at his workplace and a deputy spotted it. Using the registration, they were able to confirm it belonged to the man they were searching for. Two deputies went inside and detained him.

When a man and his passenger were pulled over in Portland, the police reportedly found drugs in a bag marked “Definitely not a bag full of drugs” in the allegedly stolen vehicle.

Just after 1:00 AM on September 9, a man with a female passenger was driving a Ford Taurus through Southeast Portland. An officer from the East Precinct of the Portland Police Department spotted the vehicle, and he believed it had been reported stolen. He performed a traffic stop, and when the driver pulled over, the officer informed him and his passenger that they were being arrested.

According to the police report, when the car was searched, they found that the ignition was damaged. They also allegedly found that the key to the vehicle had been “shaved down.” In addition to other damage found in the car, they reported that the radio was missing. A bag containing plastic baggies, scales, a pipe, and a brown bag was reportedly discovered. When the brown bag, which had the words “Definitely not a bag full of drugs” marked on it, was inspected, the police reported that it did, in fact, contain a substance they believed was methamphetamine.

A Florida man was arrested on multiple charges after he was arrested for allegedly found with drugs in his vehicle including enough fentanyl to kill over 50,000 people.

On the morning of September 17, a deputy with the Hillsboro County Sheriff’s Office was near I-75 when they performed what they expected would be a routine traffic stop. They identified the 38-year-old man and found out that he was a convicted felon in Florida. The deputy saw that the man was holding an object between his knees, and it was identified as the type of torch often used for smoking drugs. According to reports, the man told them he had a history of methamphetamine use.

Backup deputies arrived, including a K9, who alerted the law enforcement agents that there were likely drugs in the vehicle. A search reportedly revealed stashes of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and marijuana, in addition to a digital scale, and a pistol. The authorities reported that the fentanyl he was allegedly carrying was enough to kill 51,500 people.

A Florida woman is facing multiple felony charges after the police reportedly found her in possession of a purse labeled “Bag of Drugs,” which was allegedly filled with narcotics and paraphernalia.

Late in the morning on July 27 in St. Petersburg, a 41-year-old woman was riding as a passenger in her vehicle while her friend was at the wheel. A trooper from the Florida Highway Patrol spotted the vehicle and reported that they believed the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver pulled over without incident.

When the trooper walked up to the car, they went to the passenger side. When they first looked inside the vehicle, they reportedly saw a piece of foil and a plastic straw on the floor and believed it had been used for drug consumption. The rest of the interior was searched, and in addition to an open container of alcohol, the authorities found a purse marked with the words “Bag of Drugs.”
