An Illinois woman is facing a felony charge after she was accused of setting multiple fires inside a Walmart while the store was crowded with shoppers.

According to reports, the incident happened on New Year’s Eve at a Walmart in Woodstock. Investigators alleged that the woman entered the store during the early evening and went to the camping section, where she placed containers of camping fuel into a shopping cart. She allegedly went to the baby and infant section, returned to the camping aisle for additional fuel, and then went back to the same spot in the store.

Surveillance footage reportedly showed the suspect pouring liquid onto several baby cribs and using matches to ignite them before leaving the store. Employees quickly noticed the fire, and shoppers were evacuated as firefighters responded. The building’s sprinkler system activated and helped contain the flames in the back of the store.

A woman celebrating New Year’s Eve at a Florida eatery was arrested on a felony charge after allegedly throwing a plastic top hat at an officer at the establishment. 

Last weekend, an Ohio woman and her husband were on holiday in the St. Petersburg section of the Gulf Coast. 

On New Year’s Eve, the couple went to a downtown restaurant where they took part in the midnight celebration to welcome the start of 2023.

An Illinois woman was accused of driving under the influence when the authorities reportedly found her asleep in her vehicle in the parking lot of a Dollar General store. 

At approximately 8:00 PM on New Year’s Eve, the Joliet Police Department received a notification about someone who was parked in the local Dollar General store’s lot. It was reported that the person appeared to be an unconscious female. 

Officers went to the location to make sure that the person did not require assistance.

Actor David Koechner was taken into custody on New Year’s Eve when he allegedly drove intoxicated, purportedly causing him to crash his vehicle, and then fled without notifying the authorities. 

59-year-old David Koechner is an American actor and comedian from Missouri.  

He currently voices several characters on American Dad, is the voice of Robert “Bob Pogo” Pogrohovich on F is for Family, and plays the recurring role of Bill Lewis on The Goldbergs. He is well known for portraying Todd Packer on The Office and co-starring in the Anchorman movies in the role of Champ Kind. He is also about to do a multi-state comedy tour in the near future.

After being wished a Merry Christmas, a woman allegedly assaulted the person who issued the greeting by beating her on the head.

On Christmas, at a residence in Cincinnati, Ohio, two women reportedly had an altercation which was allegedly brought on by one of them using the greeting “Merry Christmas.”

32-year-old Henrietta Bush, whose acquaintance with the alleged victim was not made clear in the reports, has been accused of responding to the holiday wishes using her fists to pummel the woman on her head.

A San Francisco man was charged with three felonies on Wednesday after he was accused of sexually assaulting an elderly woman in her apartment on New Year’s Eve.

A 99-year-old woman who resides in a Chinatown housing project reported that a man knocked on her door around 12:30 pm on New Year’s Eve. She said that she opened the door and tried to obstruct him from entering, but he came inside anyway.

After the man was in her apartment, the alleged victim said that he washed his hands before he pulled down his pants and tried to have sex with her upon her bed. She reportedly told the man that he was causing her physical pain, which caused him to cease and leave her home.
