An Indiana couple was arrested for allegedly neglecting, abusing, and abandoning a 13-year-old boy they adopted after they reportedly decided they no longer wanted him to live in their home.

According to reports, a married couple who live in LaPorte County with two children decided to adopt a child. The young teen was the eldest of the three kids living with the pair. Approximately six months ago, the adopted teen reportedly developed a behavioral problem that affected the other family members.

On July 5, someone called the Department of Child Services and reported the parents for alleged abuse and neglect. They were reportedly told that all three children were being hit with belts as punishment and that the teen took the brunt of the alleged abuse. The caller let them know that they believed the boy was being forced to live in a trailer outside the house in the winter and was not properly fed.

In an ironic situation, a Texas woman was arrested for a drug crime while she was wearing a “D.A.R.E.” anti-drug tee shirt.

According to reports, a vehicle was being driven through Jim Wells County, which is in the Corpus Christi statistical area.

The reason for pulling the car over has not yet been disclosed, but the officer performed a traffic stop.

41-year-old Michael Boatman is a married South Carolinian who recently reportedly had an affair.

In an attempt to right his alleged wrong, Boatman reportedly chose to take what he dubbed a “walk of shame” to try to repair the damage to his relationship.

A man walking down the street was allegedly found with a bag of what the police asserted was methamphetamine, but he reportedly told them it was salt for his ingrown toenail.

Around 4:30 am on March 30, an officer with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office reportedly “observed a black male walking in the 300 block of Pink Street” in West Monroe.

The officer approached the man and identified him as 47-year-old John Combs. According to the affidavit, Combs hails from Chatham, but his physical address was listed as unknown.

A Florida man explained that the drugs reportedly found inside his automobile by the authorities ended up there in a random happenstance fueled by the forces of nature.

At the end of October, two officers with the Fort Pierce Police Department reportedly encountered a sedan that ran through a stop sign in a neighborhood that was described as “a known area for drug sells [SIC] and prostitution.”

The police turned on their flashing lights to perform a traffic stop, and they reported that they saw the driver making shifty motions. It appeared to the officers as if he tried to throw something out of the car window before he pulled over.
