Unsatisfied Customer Walloped Underage KFC Employee

A Florida woman is facing felony charges after she allegedly assaulted an underage KFC employee by reaching into the drive-thru window.
23-year-old Alexandra Maldonado lives in St. Petersburg.
Just after 5:00 PM on October 22, Maldonado was reportedly at a local KFC restaurant. The inside was not accessible to customers, but the drive-through was still open.
The woman was reportedly not satisfied with the quality of service she received.
According to the alleged victim, Maldonado walked up to the drive-through window and confronted the 16-year-old about the issue.
Maldonado allegedly reached inside the drive-through window and used her hand to hit the girl in the neck.
According to the arrest affidavit, Maldonado left a red mark when she struck the teen “one time in on [SIC] the left side of her neck.”
The St. Petersburg Police Department was notified about the incident, and officers went to the KFC.
They documented the injury on the girl’s neck that was purported to have come from the assault.
The authorities reported that the restaurant’s surveillance camera had recorded the incident.
Though the woman had already departed from the location, the police tracked her down and pulled her over.
Maldonado was read her Miranda rights, but she reportedly still decided to willingly talk to the police about the incident.
When she spoke about the allegations, it was reported that Maldonado told the officers that she did hit the girl.
The authorities presented Maldonado to the alleged victim, and the young woman reportedly confirmed that she was the person involved in the incident.
Maldonado was taken into custody and booked into the Pinellas County Jail on a $15,000 bond. She is expected to face charges for suspicion of felony burglary and child abuse.
She was released from jail the following day.
