Woman Arrested For Riding Toy Truck While Intoxicated

A mother from South Carolina is facing charges after she allegedly took drugs and decided to take her child’s toy truck for an excursion down a main road.

Walhalla police received a report concerning a woman that was seen riding atop a motorized Power Wheels children’s toy truck on a main street.

When officers searched the area reported, they came across 25-year-old Megan Holman who is a single mother with two children.

Holman had reportedly traveled approximately a mile from her house using the toy as a mode of transportation, and the officers purported that she was under the influence of a narcotic substance while doing so.

When speaking with the police, Holman, who is the daughter of ex-wrestler Dan Holman, allegedly explained that she was performing a task that was part of a scavenger hunt. She was also reported as disclosing that she is trying to break into the world of wrestling and her participation would help to further her future career.

The police felt that her story lacked credibility, and it was purported that Holman was actually on her way home from a destination instead of taking part in an event.

The authorities ultimately decided that Holman would be apprehended for public intoxication for her allegedly suspicious stunt, and she was taken into custody.

After being charged with public intoxication Holman was incarcerated in the Oconee County Detention Center.

Though the authorities felt that she had taken drugs her alleged use of the electrically-charged toy as the choice of travel prevented Holman from receiving a DUI. She was charged for suspicion of public intoxication and later released on her own recognizance.
