A man is facing multiple domestic violence-related offenses after allegedly causing physical harm to his pregnant housemate when he allegedly made her swallow a burning blunt.

According to reports, a 24-year-old man and the pregnant woman with whom he shares a residence had experienced a couple of violent incidents, and the most recent one led to his arrest. The pair lives in Cherry Valley, Illinois, which is approximately 10 miles from the Wisconsin border. On March 8, the man allegedly physically attacked the woman by choking and burning her. Two days later, while she was lying in bed, the man reportedly became aggressive with her again.

The woman said he was trying to force her to allow him to wash her feet, and the man allegedly roughly took her to their upstairs bathroom. He reportedly put his hands around her neck and choked her until she broke free, and he walked out of the room. A few moments later, he reentered the bathroom with a burning blunt (marijuana rolled in cigar paper). The man allegedly shoved the smoldering item into her mouth and made her swallow it.

There was no winner when two men got into a violent fight on a Florida beach during spring break, as one of them ended up with a felony charge and the other had his ear bitten off.

According to reports, late in the afternoon on St. Patrick’s Day, beachgoers, some of whom were relaxing while on spring break, were enjoying the coastline at Fort Myers Beach when what was described as a brutal fight between two men broke out. The probable cause statement indicated that an 18-year-old local man was on the beach when he reportedly began making racial comments toward a black individual with whom he was acquainted when they walked by with some friends. In addition to the alleged verbal attack, the man also reportedly struck him after approaching him from behind and then shoved him down onto the sand. They began struggling on the ground, and things quickly intensified.

People in the area where the fight broke out noticed the unrest, and one of them began recording the incident. When the video was later reviewed by the authorities, it was reported that the suspect could be seen shoving the black man’s face in the sand before he punched him in the head. Afterward, he allegedly leaned in and bit the man’s ear so aggressively that it was severed from his head.

When a man at a bar on Florida’s West Coast reportedly got upset about the karaoke machine, he allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at one of the patrons.

According to their website, Overtime Sports Bar, which is located in a strip mall in Clearwater, offers karaoke to their patrons on Friday and Saturday nights. On March 15, the equipment used for the activity was on the fritz, causing the cancellation of that evening’s performances from potential crooners. One of the customers, later identified as a 34-year-old local, reportedly had a violent reaction to the situation which landed him behind bars.

It was reported that the man got frustrated when he learned the karaoke machine was broken, and shortly after, he walked out the door. While outside, he interacted with two other men who were at the bar, and one of them unsuccessfully tried to help lighten his mood. The man reportedly showed irritation at the unsolicited attention and allegedly responded by pointing a handgun at him. He reportedly pulled the slide back with his hand and caused it to snap forward before walking away.

When a man and woman experienced multiple complications during their travels together in Florida, it reportedly resulted in a physical fight and an arrest for battery.

Earlier this month, two people started in Tampa and took a road trip together. They traveled west towards Orlando and made it approximately 80 miles before they stopped in Kissimmee due to mechanical issues with the vehicle. They decided to get a room at an Econo Lodge while they figured things out. Unfortunately, after a few days, they were unable to afford to continue staying at the motel and had to sleep in the broken down vehicle which was parked in the lot.

Considering their financial struggles, they had problems trying to think of a way to get the car fixed, and the pair reportedly began arguing. The situation intensified until it allegedly became physically violent, and the authorities were notified. When the police arrived, they said they received some conflicting statements when they interviewed the man and woman. The pair reportedly had different answers when asked about their relationship to one another, with the man saying they had been romantically connected for months, and the woman claiming it was untrue and that they were not a couple. The man also said she punched him in the face and threw urine on him, but they believed he was the one who became physically violent towards the woman.

A New York woman is facing several charges after she was reportedly caught with narcotics in her vehicle in addition to attacking officers in the ambulance and at the hospital.

Just after midnight on March 14, a 24-year-old woman from Bayside was parked near a highway onramp and sitting in her vehicle when officers from the Teaneck Police Department showed up at the scene. The woman was reportedly complaining of pain and behaving erratically, and an ambulance was sent to the scene so she could be taken to the hospital for assessment and treatment. The officers searched the woman, who they determined was intoxicated, and allegedly found a baggie containing a pink substance. They believed it was a narcotic containing ketamine and MDMA which is known on the street as “pink cocaine.”

According to reports, the ride to the medical center was rough. Police were in the ambulance with the woman and the first responders, when she allegedly became violent and began thrashing her arms and legs. The authorities asserted that she was trying to hit and kick them. When they arrived, the woman reportedly caused one of the officer’s injuries by biting him hard enough to break the skin.

Three people were arrested after a Maryland man was found running down the middle of the street after escaping from three individuals who he accused of holding him captive for almost 24 hours and attacking him.

According to reports, on the morning of March 9, a man whose identity has not been released was going to meet his girlfriend’s brother. They planned to work together on repairing his vehicle. While he was en route, three individuals, later identified as two men and a woman from Darlington, reportedly intercepted him and violently attacked the man before abducting him. After the alleged ambush, the trio reportedly left the man gagged and tied up in a garage for nearly 24 hours.

The following morning, the alleged captors went out, and the man saw it as an opportunity to try to get away. He was ultimately successful, but he was unable to take the gag out of his mouth and untie his hands from behind his back. He was spotted running down the middle of the street, and the authorities were notified.

A Florida man might be permanently disfigured after an encounter with a woman in a 7-Eleven reportedly turned violent and she allegedly hit him in the face with a can of Pringles.

On March 6, a 28-year-old woman was at the checkout counter inside a 7-Eleven in Orlando when a man, who had reportedly been accosted by another man in the parking lot, walked in and approached her. Their interaction reportedly led to an altercation involving the woman allegedly striking him in the face with a Pringles can. She fled from the store, and the man, who was bleeding from a deep wound under one of his eyes, waited for the authorities to arrive.

Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office went to the location to investigate, and collected a statement about the incident from the alleged victim. He told them he was waiting in line to pay for his item, and when the woman moved aside, he asked her if she was acquainted with the man who approached him in the parking lot. She allegedly responded by whacking him above his eye with the potato chip can before she ran off. The deputy noted the man’s injuries. A store clerk was questioned, and their account of the events was similar. Since the suspect was no longer in the store, the deputy left. Shortly after, she was found nearby.

A man in Oregon is facing charges after allegedly stabbing his daughter’s boyfriend because he believed the man mistreated her.

On February 15, the 49-year-old father of a Lane County woman took a trip to visit his daughter in Springfield. The woman, who reportedly went through a domestic violence-related incident with her boyfriend a couple of weeks ago, gave her dad the key to her residence so he could hang out while she was at work. When she arrived at her apartment, her partner was there with her father.

According to reports, she saw the pair outside on the balcony, and their encounter appeared to be hostile. Her dad was presumably upset about the alleged incident that took place between the 27-year-old man and his daughter. Things reportedly escalated and turned violent, and the woman’s boyfriend was allegedly stabbed by her father. She reported that he lost so much blood that her apartment looked like a murder scene, and he was taken to McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center for medical treatment. It was reported that in addition to the stab wound, he had cuts on his face and arms, and two of his teeth were broken.

An Illinois college student was arrested on several charges after reportedly bringing a fellow student to his dorm room and allegedly spending hours attacking her and assaulting her with a deadly weapon.

On the morning of February 26, a woman who attends Lake Forest College met up with a 22-year-old acquaintance who works at the college as a tutor. According to reports, the pair eventually ended up in the man’s dorm room. While there, things reportedly took a violent turn when he allegedly attacked the woman and held her at knifepoint. When the alleged victim spoke out about the incident, she reported “The blade was against my throat. If I moved, if I breathed a little bit too heavy, my throat would’ve been sliced.” Hours later, the woman was able to leave the room, and the authorities were notified.

The man was taken into custody by the Lake Forest Police Department on suspicion of felony aggravated battery, aggravated assault and two counts of battery. In Illinois, as of September 18, 2023, “judges are no longer allowed to order someone charged with a crime to pay money as a condition of their pretrial release” due to the SAFE-T Act amendment. As such, the suspect was released with the conditions that he is not permitted to leave the state, and he must stay away from the alleged victim. Additionally, it was reported that he is no longer allowed on the Lake Forest College campus.

A Florida woman believed to be stealing electricity from the power company was arrested on a multitude of charges after allegedly siccing her dogs on investigating employees and responding law enforcement.

According to reports, a woman from Lake Wales recently had the power turned off at her residence. On February 25, the 28-year-old spotted two employees from Duke Energy on her property. They were sent to the home to see if the resident had found a way to illegally use the electricity. The woman, who has two Great Danes, allegedly unleashed the dogs and commanded them to attack the workers. They called the authorities to report the incident, and a deputy from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office went to the address to investigate.

After he arrived and began interacting with her, the deputy reported that the woman called 911. The woman allegedly sicced her dogs on the deputy, preventing him from taking her into custody. The deputies who responded to the woman’s call assisted in detaining her.
