A Florida woman who said she imbibed an “Elixir of Life” potion is facing charges after she allegedly tried to steal a St. Johns County fire truck.

Kailani Jo Kroll is a resident of St. Augustine, Florida.

Late in the evening on August 20, the woman was reportedly on the beach a couple of blocks from her residence.

A man in Houston allegedly used a gun to steal an ambulance that was en route to the hospital with a patient.

Last Friday morning, a Houston Fire Department ambulance was transporting a patient to a local hospital.

The driver, a firefighter EMT, and the patient were traveling in the vehicle when a car reportedly came to a complete stop in front of them and blocked their way.

A man in Texas allegedly hopped into and stole an on-duty ambulance and headed to a fast food drive-thru with the emergency vehicle.

36-year-old Renaldo Dechaume Leonard resides in Houston, Texas. Leonard is currently on probation for prior theft convictions.

On January 21, paramedics were on call in a Houston Fire Department ambulance that was left unattended while they responded at the scene.

An EMT facing charges for suspicion of driving under the influence in August has pleaded not guilty to the allegations and shared her story of how a medical emergency led to criminal charges.

Kerstii Groce is an emergency medical technician employed by American Medical Response in Mississippi.

In the afternoon on August 22, Groce was driving an ambulance to transport a non-emergency patient. A second EMT was also in the vehicle.

An Arizona resident who was exiting the hospital after receiving help for health problems relating to the extreme heat outside allegedly stole an ambulance so that he would not have to walk home in the high temperature.

When 37-year-old Todd Shell, a former basketball player for Arizona State University, became ill from the recorded 115-degree weather on Tuesday he went to the hospital for treatment.

After he was stabilized Shell left the hospital and went back into the hot weather but as he did not have a vehicle he realized that he would have to walk home. He allegedly spotted an ambulance that had recently made a drop off at the emergency room. It was still running but no one was inside of it.
