A Montana man was arrested after police said he allegedly held his girlfriend captive inside her parents’ home for several days, repeatedly assaulting her, threatening her life, and abusing her cat.

According to investigators, the alleged abuse began after the woman’s parents left town and the couple remained alone at the residence. Police said the victim was prevented from leaving the home over a period of several days as the violence escalated.

During the ordeal, the man allegedly threw the woman to the ground multiple times, pulled her by the hair when she attempted to escape, and held her down for extended periods while striking her in the head. Deputies said he also called the victim’s employer to report that she would not be coming to work.

A Florida man was accused of dumping the contents of a backpack filled with human waste and other substances onto his former girlfriend after she returned to collect her belongings from his apartment, according to authorities.

The alleged victim told the authorities she went back to the apartment after temporarily leaving following a separate confrontation. When she arrived, she allegedly found the man outside holding her backpack. Investigators alleged the bag contained feces, urine, ketchup, hot sauce, and other unknown substances before the contents were dumped onto her.

The incident came after the alleged victim had reported multiple earlier encounters with the man. She told the authorities that during a June visit to his apartment, the two had consensual sex before she claimed he allegedly began slapping her. She said the alleged assault continued even after she asked him to stop.

A New York couple was accused of traveling to Florida and becoming involved in a shooting outside a residence where a woman they allegedly knew lived.

According to the authorities, several bullets struck the home during the confrontation and entered the residence while the alleged victim’s two daughters were inside. No injuries to the children were reported.

Investigators said the violence began after the husband and the alleged victim’s fiancé became involved in a physical confrontation outside the home. Surveillance footage reportedly captured parts of the incident, but investigators said it did not clearly establish who fired the first shot. Both men claimed the other person began shooting.

A Florida man was arrested after the authorities accused him of attacking a teenage boy during a confrontation that began when two juveniles walked through his backyard.

According to investigators, a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old were crossing the property at about 7:10 p.m. when the homeowner’s wife came outside and told them to leave. The 13-year-old reportedly responded with profanity, and she went back inside to tell her husband what had happened.

The authorities said the homeowner then came outside and confronted the boys. The older teen reportedly began recording the encounter on his cellphone because he allegedly felt threatened. Investigators said the man first pushed the teen near the collarbone before allegedly grabbing him by the neck and squeezing.

A Fayette County woman was hospitalized after an alleged assault that investigators said left her with serious injuries.

According to court documents, the alleged victim eventually escaped the residence and ran to a neighbor’s home for help. She reportedly told investigators that the suspect had consumed several vodka and cranberry drinks before passing out, allowing her to get away.

Investigators said the woman suffered a severe head injury during the incident. According to the affidavit, she reported that the suspect repeatedly struck her with a metal water bottle, causing a deep wound that exposed part of her skull. Authorities alleged that after the injury occurred, he forced her into a bathroom and attempted to close the wound using superglue. Deputies also observed bruising around her neck.

A Florida mother was arrested after the authorities said she allegedly assaulted her daughter following a disagreement about a trip to Target.

According to an arrest report, officers responded to a home in Homestead late Wednesday night after receiving a call about a disturbance. Sources report that both the mother and the daughter contacted 911 during the incident. When the officers arrived, they reportedly observed visible redness on the daughter’s face.

The daughter reportedly told police that earlier that day, she had gone to Target with a friend after texting her mom to let her know. Her mother allegedly told her she was not allowed to go and continued sending messages while she was out, asking about her location and telling her to return home. The daughter reportedly stated that when she arrived at the residence, her mother grabbed her by the hair and pulled her inside.

A man who was initially accused of assault and domestic assault after reportedly consuming a THC beverage and allegedly trying to drown his mother and sister is now facing more serious charges after the prosecutor reviewed the details of the case.

On the afternoon of August 30, a 42-year-old man from Shakopee, Minnesota, was swimming in Otter Tail Lake with two of his family members. Something occurred that upset the man, and it was reported that he physically lashed out at his 25-year-old sister and 64-year-old mom. According to reports, he first reached out and put his hand around his sister’s throat. While she was under the water, he allegedly choked her, causing her to pass out. When their mother tried to force her son to let go, he reportedly attempted to push her underwater as well.

A neighbor overheard odd sounds coming from the lake, and when he spotted the family, he ran over to help. Both women were safely retrieved from the water, and the authorities were notified. When deputies arrived, the man was still in the water, and when he got out, he was taken into custody without incident. They reported that he was very concerned that he might have killed his sister and appeared very relieved to learn it was not so. He allegedly told them he drank a beverage containing THC before the incident occurred.

A Georgia man is facing multiple charges after allegedly choking a woman at an apartment complex while occupants of the building reportedly witnessed what was described as a brutal attack.

On the evening of July 31, multiple tenants who reside in an apartment complex in Duxbury reportedly witnessed what they believed was a man trying to murder a resident in one of the building hallways. According to reports, the situation began when he went to the apartment where his girlfriend was and was made to leave. Afterwards, he allegedly walked into a different unit without permission, and things intensified when he was told to leave but refused. The man allegedly dragged a woman out of the apartment and into the hallway and wrapped his hands around her neck. Other tenants overheard the incident, and after allegedly watching him squeeze her throat and strangle her with no purported intention of letting go, in addition to telling her he was going to kill her. Some of the bystanders stepped in and successfully pulled the man away from her, and the authorities were notified about the incident.

Officers from the Duxbury Police Department went to the location, and when they first arrived, they did not see anything going on in the hallway. They talked to a resident who let them know which apartment the victim was in, and the officers went to the unit to talk to her.

On June 22, a 68-year-old woman and her husband were at their home in Kenosha, Wisconsin, when they began arguing after she expressed disgust about him not taking a shower for two months. The sheets on their bed were clean, and she wanted him to bathe before he turned in for the night. The man reportedly became angry, and the fight allegedly turned physical.

According to reports, her husband grabbed her throat and constricted her breathing for a few moments and then punched her in the face multiple times. When she tried to call the authorities, he allegedly took away her phone. The woman kicked him and ran out of the house, and she used a neighbor’s phone to call 911. When Kenosha police went to the home, they noted that the woman’s nose was bleeding, and she had additional open wounds on her face. Her husband reportedly told the police he slapped the woman across the face to defend himself.

A man is facing multiple domestic violence-related offenses after allegedly causing physical harm to his pregnant housemate when he allegedly made her swallow a burning blunt.

According to reports, a 24-year-old man and the pregnant woman with whom he shares a residence had experienced a couple of violent incidents, and the most recent one led to his arrest. The pair lives in Cherry Valley, Illinois, which is approximately 10 miles from the Wisconsin border. On March 8, the man allegedly physically attacked the woman by choking and burning her. Two days later, while she was lying in bed, the man reportedly became aggressive with her again.

The woman said he was trying to force her to allow him to wash her feet, and the man allegedly roughly took her to their upstairs bathroom. He reportedly put his hands around her neck and choked her until she broke free, and he walked out of the room. A few moments later, he reentered the bathroom with a burning blunt (marijuana rolled in cigar paper). The man allegedly shoved the smoldering item into her mouth and made her swallow it.
