A federal agent is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly sexually assaulting women under the guise that he was going to find them modeling work and give them free tattoos.

At the end of October, the authorities opened an investigation after receiving reports about women who were allegedly raped by a man named Lalo Brown when they went to a Gaithersburg shop called DC Fine Line Tattoos. During their initial investigation, the police reportedly learned that the suspect reached out to at least two women on Instagram and said he could get them modeling jobs through an agency called Exeter Models. One of the women was reportedly offered a free tattoo if she agreed to model it. She was given the tattoo in August, and she signed a contract for the modeling gig. The woman went back to the tattoo shop for what she believed was a test photo shoot. While there, the man allegedly raped her and then told her he would take legal action if she did not complete the work she agreed to when she signed the contract. She was reportedly told to meet the suspect at a hotel a couple of weeks later for the photo shoot, and when she arrived, she was allegedly sexually assaulted a second time. The second alleged victim reported that she went through a similar situation with the man.

The authorities found out the person who owned the tattoo shop was a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. When the women saw the suspect, they both said he was the person who raped them.

The owner of a massage parlor in South Central Pennsylvania was arrested after being accused of using the establishment to sell customers sexual services performed by herself and her staff.

In the fall of 2023, “Operation: Closed2Trafficking” was launched in Cumberland County to try to curtail sex trafficking that was taking place in local massage parlors. Last month, Cumberland County Criminal Investigation Division deputies went to GL Massage Therapy in Carlisle with a search warrant and inspected the business. One of the employees reportedly told them that she and another woman had both taken money from customers in exchange for sexual activities. The deputies learned the other individual’s name, and they discovered that the 69-year-old woman from Newport owned a massage business called Li’s Asian Spa, also known as New Asian Spa. They purported that illegal activity was going on there as well, and they began investigating the establishment.

An online search was conducted, and the authorities reportedly saw several reviews posted for Li’s where the presumed clients mentioned trading money for sexual pleasure. According to reports, a few individuals claiming to be customers spoke directly to deputies and told them they had paid for sex acts.

A Florida man recently found himself jailed and charged with multiple counts of video voyeurism after being accused of secretly recording women in public spaces over several years by using a cell phone hidden in a shopping basket to record under women’s skirts.

According to reports, on July 21, a woman was shopping at Publix Market Square in Gainesville. While she was browsing, she felt a shopping basket touch her leg under her skirt. When she looked down, she believed she saw a cell phone in the basket, and the camera lens was pointing upwards. When she tried to talk to the man, he reportedly walked away without responding. As he left the store, she watched him get into a vehicle and she jotted down the license plate number.

The authorities were notified, and a deputy from the Alachua County Sheriff’s Department spoke with the alleged victim. After she told them what happened and gave them the license plate number, they collected surveillance footage from the store. It was reported that the video showed the man putting the phone in the basket and angling it so that it was aimed up the woman’s skirt.
