A Florida septuagenarian is facing multiple charges after the authorities reportedly found a huge stash (weighing more than one ton) of printed child sexual abuse photos in his residence.  

In Ocala, Florida, a 72-year-old man who resides with housemates has reportedly regularly enforced a strict rule disallowing any of them from going into his bedroom or home office without him. 

At the beginning of the year, a detective from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office traced an IP address that they said led to the man’s residence. The search was performed after the authorities were made aware of several pictures depicting child sexual abuse materials that were uploaded to the internet. The police believed the photos had been posted online by someone at the man’s address.

The husband of a woman who babysits for more than one family was arrested after the authorities alleged that he sexually abused several youngsters while they were in her care.

On December 20, the authorities in Lebanon, Missouri, were alerted by the Missouri Department of Social Services Children’s Division. They were told about a seven-year-old girl’s conversation with her school counselor. The child reportedly said that her babysitter’s husband had forced her to take part in sexual acts.

According to a press release from the Lebanon Police Department, an investigation was opened, and they believed they located the responsible party.

A Southern California couple was arrested when they reportedly locked their three children in a room in their apartment, and the dwelling caught on fire while they were out for a walk. 

Around 2:00 AM on November 3, the authorities received a report informing them that an apartment in a multi-unit complex in Burbank was on fire. 

When officers from the Burbank Police Department arrived, they were informed that the neighbors believed there were young children alone and trapped in the burning apartment.

A man who has been on the sex offender registry since he was a child was accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in Wichita Falls. 

When he was 12, now 36-year-old Joshua Samuel Gravens was convicted of a sex crime for inappropriately touching his younger sister. When Gravens was sentenced, he was ordered to keep his name on the sex offender registry. 

In 2009, Gravens was living in Wichita Falls and failed to register on time, and he was charged with a felony.

46-year-old Lauren Tracy lives in Mammoth Lakes. She has a 5-year-old child.

It was reported that at some point over the weekend, Tracy stepped out and left her child by themselves. 

Around 7:00 pm, a babysitter hired through a service showed up at the vacation home and figured she would meet with the mother of the child who would be left in her care.

A man was accused of battery after he got into an argument with his niece and allegedly punched her during the altercation. 

50-year-old Sang Van Nguyen, a native of Saigon, Vietnam, resides in a new gated community in Wildwood, Florida, where they provide homes with a low-maintenance lifestyle.  

Nguyen rents out one of the bedrooms in his residence to his niece.

A Florida teacher has been charged with sexual crimes after allegedly sharing a relationship involving physical and emotional intimacy with a teenage student. 

28-year-old Philip Velez resides in Hollywood, Florida. He has been teaching culinary arts and coaching basketball at Charles W. Flanagan High School in Pembroke Pines for approximately three years. 

Last November, Velez was at a school fundraising event where he reportedly encountered a 17-year-old female student. The pair reportedly enjoyed each other’s company and continued to connect, initially through text messages.

When a man and his mother-in-law were arguing, he allegedly retrieved a sword and stabbed the woman in the chest.

On the evening of August 30, 24-year-old Nathan Heyob and his mother-in-law reportedly got into a disagreement.

When the argument began, the pair were on the first floor of the residence.

The authorities have reported that they ended a months-long search for a stolen playground slide after discovering it inside the bedroom of a Burbank mobile home.

Last December, the authorities were told that a slide from Tierra Vida Park in Pascoe, Washington, had disappeared from its place in the playground. The weight of the large piece of equipment was an estimated 400-pounds.

The police search was fruitless until the end of February.

The police arrested a registered sex offender after they alleged that he was recording and storing footage of tenants renting rooms in his home while they were in the middle of private acts.

69-year-old Larry Phillips owns a residence in Salt Lake City, and he attends college at the University of Utah. He is a registered sex offender due to incidents that occurred in 2002 and 2006; the first for forcible sexual abuse, and the second for offensive touching.

Phillips has extra bedrooms in his house, and he shares his residence by renting them out to tenants.
