A man who allegedly made an attempt to trick his former friend into opening up a toolbox filled with dog feces is facing felony charges after the police discovered drugs and a shotgun in his residence.
48-year-old Robb Alexander Stout reportedly shared a friendship with a man that had borrowed one of his possessions and did not return it.
Stout, who stated that he and his friend used to enjoy watching online videos of people pranking each other when they were hanging out, allegedly decided to devise a gag of his own in an effort to show his displeasure regarding the borrowed belonging.
Using a plastic toolbox, the airbag from an automobile, assorted mechanical pieces, and some ingenuity, Stout reportedly began constructing his revenge-device.
After Stout allegedly manipulated the toolbox so that it would shower his ex-buddy with the contents upon its opening, he reportedly spent some time collecting excrement piles left by his canine and several other neighborhood dogs. The poop was packed into the plastic toolbox, and Stout then allegedly put the device on the back of the intended recipient’s Camaro.
On April 16, when the man found and opened the plastic toolbox on the back of his car, he reported that “it exploded with such force that it sounded like an M80 going off,” but no injuries were reported as a result of the stinky blast.
Stout was taken into custody for a felony charge of unlawfully manufacturing a destructive device, and he was released after paying a $2000 bond.
When he was arraigned the following day for the poop bomb, Stout was issued additional charges for suspicion of meth possession, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and unlawfully possessing a short-barrel shotgun, due to allegations that the police had discovered the drugs and weapon in his home during an inspection stemming from the original charges.
