A man in Texas reportedly injured three people, one of which was a youngster, after allegedly hiding fireworks under toilet seats in bathrooms at two different car washes.

According to reports, on July 20, a woman at a Wash Tub Car Center car wash in Helotes went to use their restroom. When she sat down on the toilet seat, an explosion went off and she was reportedly injured from the blast. After she left the location, she notified the police about her experience.

Within a week of the first reported blast, two individuals at the Wash Tub located in San Antonio had similar experiences. One of the alleged victims who works at the car wash was using the facilities. When she sat down, she reported that something made a loud popping sound, and it was reported that she was also physically hurt during the incident. A few minutes later, a young girl was using the bathroom when she became the third alleged victim of the unexpected detonation.

A Florida man was arrested after he called the authorities to report that he saw an alligator tied to a fence by its jaw, and they came to believe he was the person responsible for the act.

According to reports, there are over one million alligators in the state of Florida, and there are several ways the state protects them from harm. Some of these include making it illegal to feed them and preventing them from being captured or keeping them or their eggs without a state license to do so, in addition to the creation of the Alligator Management Program which serves to assist with various problems involving alligators.

Early in the morning on July 31, the authorities in Cape Canaveral received a call from a man who said he was walking past a canal when he saw a white rope tied to the top rung of the metal handrail above. He reported that when he looked down, he saw an alligator at the other end, and it looked like he was stuck on the rope.

A woman suspected of driving under the influence with a toddler in her car was arrested when she was pulled over after reportedly almost colliding with a tow truck.

At approximately 2:30 AM on August 5, a woman was driving a Mustang in Kent with a 3-year-old passenger. A tow truck was on the same side of the street, and a Kent Patrol Officer was following behind it with their lights turned on. It was reported that the woman nearly crashed into the truck, and the officer decided to initiate a traffic stop.

The woman pulled over without incident, and when the officer walked up to the window to talk to her, they noted that she did not put the car in park. When asked for her identification and proof of insurance, she still reportedly left the car in drive. A toddler was seen in the back of the vehicle, and they were allegedly sitting without a child’s car seat or safety belt on.

A Kansas man was arrested on many charges after he was accused of being the aggressor in a series of alleged domestic violence incidents that occurred within three months of each other.

According to reports, a 28-year-old man who lives in Parsons had recently been involved in three incidents that were classified as domestic violence crimes. It was believed that the man was the aggressor in each of the events, and considering the pattern, the authorities decided to look deeper into the situation. On June 18, an investigation was opened, and enough information was collected to arrest him.

On August 3, officers from the Parson Police Department, along with deputies from the Labette County Sheriff’s Office, went to the suspect’s home with an arrest warrant. It was reported that the man saw them approaching, and he decided he would try to stay out of sight. He reportedly headed to the attic of the home in an alleged attempt to hide. The police quickly found him, and he cooperated without further incident.

An Indiana couple was arrested for allegedly neglecting, abusing, and abandoning a 13-year-old boy they adopted after they reportedly decided they no longer wanted him to live in their home.

According to reports, a married couple who live in LaPorte County with two children decided to adopt a child. The young teen was the eldest of the three kids living with the pair. Approximately six months ago, the adopted teen reportedly developed a behavioral problem that affected the other family members.

On July 5, someone called the Department of Child Services and reported the parents for alleged abuse and neglect. They were reportedly told that all three children were being hit with belts as punishment and that the teen took the brunt of the alleged abuse. The caller let them know that they believed the boy was being forced to live in a trailer outside the house in the winter and was not properly fed.

A man from Florida’s Gulf Coast is facing charges after he allegedly hit his mother in the head with spaghetti sauce while they were having a fight.

On the evening of August 4, a 41-year-old man and his 61-year-old mother were at the residence they share in St. Petersburg. According to reports, the pair sat down together for a pasta dinner, and the meal was interrupted when they began arguing. The reason for their verbal disagreement was not disclosed, but things escalated until the situation allegedly became physical. Though he did not directly strike her, the woman’s son reportedly threw spaghetti sauce in her direction, and it got all over her.

The authorities were notified, and police went to the address to see what was happening. The man was still at the home when the officers got there, but when he saw them approaching, he reportedly ran outside and into the backyard. They began looking for him, and the officers saw him in a spot that looked like he was trying to hide behind a shrub. It wasn’t long before the man was caught and detained. The police did not note any physical injuries in the initial report, but they said the alleged victim still had sauce on her.

After a routine traffic stop reportedly led to a police standoff, the lead singer of the band “Puddle of Mudd” was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant and resisting arrest.

Wes Scantlin has been the 52-year-old lead singer and guitarist of the post-grunge band Puddle of Mudd since its formation in 1991. Over the years, Scantlin has had several legal issues for a variety of reasons. In 2002 and 2013, he was accused of domestic abuse, in addition to pleading guilty to cocaine possession in the summer of 2012. In 2017, Scantlin was arrested again when he reportedly tried to get on an airplane with a BB gun at the Los Angeles International Airport.

On July 31, someone later identified as Scantlin was driving a Hummer in Burbank when a law enforcement officer initiated a traffic stop. Scantlin initially pulled over, but when the police found out that he had an outstanding arrest warrant for the incident at LAX he allegedly started resisting.

A lawyer in Texas who runs an adoption agency was arrested when the authorities reported that they found she was trying to purchase unborn babies from prison inmates.

According to reports, earlier this summer, the authorities in Tarrant County opened an investigation to determine whether pregnant inmates in the county jail had been in contact with a woman asking to adopt their babies. They believed the party offered illegal compensation while trying to strongarm some of the expectant mothers into agreeing to the arrangement.

The arrest warrant states that the investigation led them to interactions between the 68-year-old woman, who founded Adoptions International, Inc.. This agency operates worldwide and helps to match orphaned infants with adoptive parents. They also learned that the agency’s accreditation was canceled in 2019 due to a failure to comply with standards.

A Florida man is facing multiple charges when he was reportedly caught in a residential backyard after allegedly wandering onto the property and stealing a decorative garden turtle.

Just after midnight on August 2, a resident was asleep in their Southwest Cape Coral home when strange noises on their lanai caused them to wake up. They immediately looked outside to see if they could determine the source of the sounds. While scanning the landscape of their yard, they reportedly noticed what appeared to be a bearded man hanging out in their swimming pool cage.

The homeowner called the authorities and let them know about the purported trespasser, who appeared to have several tattoos, a beard, and was wearing a pair of shorts. Officers from the Cape Coral Police Department rushed to the address to investigate.

A brother and sister in South Carolina spent the night in jail after name-calling, punching, gunfire, a broomstick, and a can of bug spray were allegedly used during a fight about the proper way to cook chicken.

On the evening of July 28, a 27-year-old man was cooking dinner at his family home in Georgetown. His 25-year-old sister was also there, and she began complaining about the way he was seasoning the chicken. He explained that he knew what he was doing and let her know their grandmother was going to add the seasonings.

According to reports, the woman was unsatisfied with the response, and she told her brother he was a “dumb dog.” He allegedly responded by holding her down on the kitchen table with his body while punching her in the face multiple times. A person whose identity was not disclosed was in the house, and when they heard the ruckus, they reportedly grabbed a loaded firearm and shot a bullet through the ceiling. The woman then reportedly began chasing her brother with a knife. He believed his life was in danger, so he ran to his grandmother’s door. She exited the room and began striking her granddaughter with a broom handle.
