Man Accused of Assaulting Woman With Multiple Weapons

A Wyoming man was arrested after police said he threatened a woman with several different weapons on the night of October 10.

Deputies rushed to the home after a woman managed to call 911 for help during the argument. According to a police affidavit, the trouble started when a man accused the alleged victim of cheating on him. A video camera inside the bedroom recorded the audio, which reportedly captured the man pointing a handgun at her head and threatening to kill her.

The police report stated that the man later put the gun down and picked up a sword instead. The woman told officers that the man pointed the long blade at her and moved forward twice like he was going to stab her, though she was not actually injured. The audio tape picked up the what sounded like the blade dragging across a surface while the man yelled at her to get back on the bed.

Roommate Drama Over Vodka Bottle Ends in Crossbow Attack

An allegedly ongoing tense relationship between two Florida roommates reportedly escalated into violence and an attempted murder charge over discarded alcohol.

The two men involved in the incident had lived together on and off for seven years and reportedly had frequent arguments. Recently, a situation occurred when one roommate went through the other’s trash and took a vodka bottle, believing it could be used to get the landlord involved. The man reportedly became angry by the intrusive act, and the situation escalated. It was reported that a couple of days before the incident, the two had also argued, and the suspect allegedly threatened to kill his roommate. The alleged victim went to stay at a friend’s house to try to calm things down.

On the morning of the alleged attack, the suspect reportedly woke his roommate under the pretense of needing a ride to the hospital for a rib injury, which the authorities later believed was a false claim. With the man in the driver’s seat and the suspect in the passenger seat, the 61-year-old allegedly aimed a crossbow at his roommate. The alleged victim was struck in the ear by the arrow but was not seriously harmed. A struggle broke out, during which the roommate took the crossbow away from the suspect and hit him with it. The suspect was knocked to the ground.

Man Attacked with Garden Hoe by Friend with Benefits

A Florida man was allegedly attacked by a woman with a garden hoe when he canceled the plans they made, and she reportedly became upset.

Early in the morning on February 11, a man in Frostproof was reportedly involved in a violent encounter with a woman he identified as a friend with benefits. It was reported that the pair made plans to spend time together, but the man informed the woman that he needed to cancel. She reportedly did not handle his retraction well and suspected he might have ditched her to hang out with another woman.

According to reports, the woman went to his house and entered the man’s property by climbing over his fence. He reportedly told her she had to leave, but she allegedly entered his residence while he tried to block her from doing so. The man continued trying to get her out of the home, but she reportedly wanted to see if another woman was there. Additionally, she asked him to give her the money back from a crossbow she bought for him. The argument intensified, and the woman allegedly grabbed a garden hoe and used it to strike the man on the arm. The wound was bleeding, and another woman took him to the hospital.
