A Pennsylvania woman was arrested on Wednesday as the suspected owner of a backpack with bricks of heroin inside, after school employees found the bag in a middle school parking lot in December.

At approximately 9:30 am on December 20, an abandoned backpack was observed in the parking lot in the back of Cecilia Snyder Middle School. Bensalem School District personnel contacted the authorities, and on inspection of the bag’s contents police found four bricks of heroin comprised of 10,000 individually packaged doses. The estimated value of the narcotics is $100,000.

Investigators watched the footage captured on surveillance cameras on the school campus in an attempt to locate the owner of the backpack. A New Jersey registered tan Toyota Corolla was seen on the video in the vicinity of where the bag was found.

A Councilman from Plainfield, New Jersey was arrested on December 9 for allegations that he was driving under the influence of alcohol after a series of curious events took place during and after he struck a tree in front of his home.

As reported by neighbors, a Hyndai Elantra allegedly operated by Councilman Barry Goode was driven into a tree late Friday night. In what was assumed as an attempt to stall the engine Goode put the car into park and held his foot on the gas.

A concerned neighbor tried to assist by opening the door to the driver’s side of the vehicle so that Goode would not become injured. Goode was then purportedly seen falling onto the ground. A neighbor used a cell phone camera to record the Councilman tumbling to the ground, and police later duplicated the footage for their reports.

An employee who used to work for the clothing store Forever 21 discovered video camera footage on various pornographic websites of herself using the employee bathroom. She is suing the company for negligence and invasion of privacy alleging that they should be held accountable for failing to prevent the camera’s placement and protecting the privacy of their workers. The victim also filed for an order protecting her identity as she wishes to remain anonymous.

In 2011 the woman was attending Providence College in Rhode Island while working at Forever 21. A single-stall employee bathroom shared by staff members reportedly contained a hidden camera, which the victim claimed as the source of the videos circulating the internet. She discovered the footage at the end of last year.

Court documents reflect in the woman’s complaint that Forever 21 failed to provide security of any type in order to monitor and protect against the placement of the camera, and though the restroom was intended for the sole use of employees they have no way to be sure an unauthorized person or persons did not enter the lavatory.
