A mom is facing charges after she allegedly brought her toddler to a Walmart store wearing nothing but a diaper on a freezing cold day.

On January 17, in Byram, Mississippi, the weather was recorded as being between 10 and 38 degrees. According to reports, a local woman who has a toddler son decided to visit the Walmart Supercenter with the child. She allegedly left the child unclothed and wearing only a diaper despite the frigid temperature outside.

It was reported that while she was in the store with the child in the grocery cart, a shopper walked up to her to admonish her for not putting clothes on the youngster. She allegedly acted unfazed and responded by twerking in his direction.

The mother of a 3-year-old in Texas has been accused of causing her child injuries by forcing her to have unneeded medical and surgical procedures due to suspected Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

According to reports, the 27-year-old mother of a 3-year-old girl put up a GoFundMe page asking for donations to pay for travel and expenses so she could take her child for a medical procedure in Ohio she allegedly claimed the youngster needed.

It was reported that the child had been to Cook’s Children’s Hospital in the past, and they found out that her mother was taking her to other states for treatment of conditions her daughter had not been diagnosed with. They believed the mother was searching for any doctor she could find to get the procedures done, even though they were allegedly not needed.

An Uwchlan Township woman allegedly claimed she had cancer in a purported attempt to scam people who donated to her fundraisers out of the money they pledged to assist her.

31-year-old Jessica Smith reportedly said she was being treated for Hereditary Nonpolyposis Colorectal Cancer, and she reached out to the public using GoFundMe and Facebook in an alleged attempt to raise money.

In the fundraisers, Smith, reportedly using the name Jessica Veronica Cornell, allegedly stated that she was suffering from her treatments and that she was struggling to make ends meet due to the high cost of her medical bills.

The parents of a 10-year-old boy who allegedly created an online campaign to raise donations for expenses related to their son’s cancer have been accused of fraudulently accepting the funds after authorities discovered that the boy did not have the disease.

GoFundMe is an online platform designed to host fundraisers created by the general public who are seeking donations for personal needs. People have collected money for causes such as gaining assistance with finances when going through rough times, help with funding independent films, and a limitless number of other causes.
