A man in Indiana is facing charges in several counties after allegedly stealing items from multiple Kohl’s locations and leading the authorities on a chase when they tried to pursue him.

According to reports, the situation began last August at a Kohl’s store in Greenwood. They notified the authorities and reported that they believed someone had stolen more than $500 of clothing. A few days later, the police received a second call from the location informing them that they were the victims of a second incident, and believed it was the suspect from the previous alleged theft.

While investigating the situation, the police learned that someone had stolen from a Kohl’s in Franklin on several occasions. When the alleged suspect visited the location at the beginning of November, the store manager attempted to run after him when he left the store, but the man quickly drove away. Approximately ten days later, the same individual was reportedly caught swiping more items, and the police found him driving nearby. When they tried to perform a traffic stop, he allegedly forced them to chase him until they used a PIT maneuver, and the tires were punctured.
