A pastor in Las Vegas was arrested after he called the police for an unrelated issue, and they reportedly found an AR-15 rifle and fentanyl in his hotel room.

On August 20, a 61-year-old senior pastor at The Bridge Fellowship called the police to report a missing piece of property, which led officers to his hotel room. Upon arrival, the caller let the detectives know that he had a gun stashed in his guitar case, though hotel employees previously informed him about their firearms policy when he reportedly brought a shotgun into his room a few days earlier.

A search of the man’s room uncovered more than just the one firearm he had mentioned. Police found multiple firearms, including an AR-15 rifle with a scope. They also reportedly discovered fentanyl pills. The man allegedly admitted to transporting both the firearms and drugs from North Carolina on a private jet. He said he had flown to Las Vegas to find his missing daughter, whom he believed to be living in the city’s abandoned storm tunnels. He also allegedly told the detectives that he intended to give his daughter the fentanyl pills if he found her.

A church pastor in North Carolina was arrested after allegedly attempting to dunk an employee in boiling oil at the McDonald’s his wife manages after she reportedly asked him to help her with a staff issue.

On the evening of December 28, a 44-year-old woman from High Point who is married to a church pastor from the Elevated Life International Ministries was working a training shift at the local McDonald’s where she was recently hired as a manager.

According to reports, the workers on duty were giving the woman a hard time, and she was having difficulty getting them to treat her respectfully. In an attempt to rectify the situation, she gave her husband a call and asked him if he would be able to come to the fast-food eatery to help. He reportedly agreed and headed to the establishment.

A man who was a pastor that runs a sober living house was accused of also running a shoplifting ring in Florida that allegedly stole more than $1 M worth of goods.

According to reports, the Rock Church and Recovery Program in St. Petersburg was founded by a now-former pastor who also ran a sober living facility. While he was in charge, the man allegedly threatened to harm some of the tenants so they would agree to steal items that he reportedly planned to resell online.

The pastor reportedly set up an eBay store named “Anointed Liquidator” for the transactions. He allegedly had his mother and wife handle some of the sales, while two of the tenants from the sober living residence went to Home Depot stores in Citrus, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sarasota Counties. They allegedly stole approximately $1.4 M worth of name-brand items by visiting the locations many times each day.

A far-right pastor in Montana who resigned from his church after being charged with DUI and weapons charges said his deficiency of Vitamin D was responsible for the situation. 

40-year-old Jordan Daniel “J.D.” Hall was, until recently, the pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church in Sydney, Montana. Hall is notorious for his far-right political alignment, and he founded a political website called Protestia. 

Around 11:00 pm on May 11, the authorities reportedly spotted Hall driving his vehicle erratically.

A pastor with eight prior DUI’s has been accused of driving intoxicated and using his vehicle to try to kill deputies by smashing into their police car.

David Jones is a pastor at Hilton Oaks Baptist Church in Ferndale, Michigan.

Just before 1:00 am on October 6, Jones was reportedly at a convenience store near I-75.

A minister in Texas is facing charges for allegedly providing counseling and drugs to an underage girl to “groom” her for sexual relations with him.

45-year-old Brian Keith Pounds is the head minister at the First Assembly of God Church, and a chaplain at Tyson Foods, both in Vernon, Texas. He has reportedly worked with the church for nearly six years.

Pounds was reportedly giving counseling services to a 15-year-old girl in need of assistance.

After many theories were posited by the online community about who the alleged peeing perpetrator was, the authorities have released the identity of the pastor accused of urinating on a female passenger mid-flight.

In the middle of October, passengers boarded a flight on Delta Airlines from Las Vegas with a destination of Detroit.

Just before 3:00 am, while most of the passengers were resting, a sleeping woman reportedly woke to find a man standing over her with his genitals exposed.

When the mother of a teenage girl found a man who serves as a youth pastor in her daughter’s closet she reported the man when she suspected that he raped the girl.

24-year-old Wilfredo Flores, a youth pastor in Oklahoma City, has allegedly had a personal connection with a teenage girl since September of last year when she was 13-years-old.

Flores and the girl reportedly used Snapchat for communicating online since that time, and they saw each other in person at a church function a few months ago. Flores is accused of trying to encourage sexual contact with the girl, who is now 14, during the event but she was said to have turned him down, and he respected her wishes and left her alone.

A well-known youth evangelist from Alabama has been accused of several child sexual charges after a teenage boy reported that he was the victim of the man’s actions.

37-year-old Paul Edward Acton Bowen of Gadsden, Alabama, has worked as an evangelist in several mediums such as a weekly worldwide broadcast, a local Bible study for children, and lending his service to a local church for 12 years. Additionally, he was a chaplain at the Summer Olympics in London, and he is a best-selling author. He and his wife reside in Etowah County.

Authorities reported that three weeks ago a young boy between the ages of 12 and 16 came forward and alerted them that he had been a victim of sexual abuse at the hands of Bowen from 2006 through 2009. The alleged victim was reportedly an acquaintance of Bowen’s family, but due to his age, further personal details are not being disclosed.

A pastor from Bridges of Hope Community Church in Minnesota witnessed a couple of teenagers shoplifting snacks from a local grocery store. The way in which he attempt to intervene has earmed him accusations of impersonating a police officer, using pepper spray and becoming physically aggressive with the victims.

Abraam Rodriguez and his cousin went to the store on September 4, and his cousin was seen stealing cereal and fruit snacks worth approximately $10. The man who witnessed them leave the store without paying for the items was identified as Keith Douglas Haskell, the pastor of a church in Owatonna, MN.

Haskell decided to follow the teens to the parking lot and tried to record their license plate number unsuccessfully. He then allegedly continued to pursue them after they pulled away in their SUV.
