A Florida man was accused of confronting a school bus driver with a handgun at a bus stop after becoming upset about how his children had allegedly been treated by another driver, according to the authorities.
The investigation began after a confrontation at a school bus stop in Citrus County at about 8:10 a.m. The incident was later reported to a school resource officer, who then contacted deputies. Investigators reviewed onboard audio and video recordings from the bus and also spoke with a bus aide who reportedly confirmed the driver’s account of what happened.
According to the authorities, the man arrived at the stop in an older blue SUV while a school bus was picking up children. Deputies said he approached the open bus door and questioned the driver about whether she was the regular driver assigned to the route.
