A South Carolina man who allegedly struck his mother violently with a pool cue when she would not pay to have his court-ordered ankle monitor removed was caught and arrested after spending a week evading the police.
According to reports, on September 26, a man was at his mom’s residence in Tatum, talking to her about covering the cost of having his GPS ankle monitor removed. The woman decided she would not pay for the service, and her denial reportedly angered her son. The man allegedly grabbed a pool cue and hit her in the head with it. He allegedly continued to physically attack her by slamming her head on a countertop.
The woman’s daughter was home at the time, and she reportedly saw what her brother was doing to their mother. She called the authorities to try to get help as soon as possible.
