A man from Maryland who was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol in Delaware allegedly assaulted officers trying to detain him and caused one of them to require medical attention from the hospital.

Just before 9:30 PM on August 7, a man from Bel Air was driving a Pathfinder on the highway when he struck a construction barrier and a Delaware River & Bay Authority Police Department Chevrolet Tahoe.

The officer who was driving the police vehicle tried to talk to the driver, but the man reportedly refused to comply. A trooper from the Delaware State Police showed up and assisted the officer, but the man still reportedly refused to get out of the vehicle, and he allegedly tried to drive away.

A Florida Man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a pregnant woman and biting one of the officers that helped to detain him. 

On January 21, around 5:30 PM, a woman who is 5 weeks pregnant notified the police about her 36-year-old boyfriend after he allegedly physically assaulted her. She reported that he violently threw her around, and then left the residence. 

The authorities looked for the suspect, but they were unable to find him until the following afternoon when they spotted the man while he was at an Express Grocery Store.

A Florida man was accused of using 911 without having a legitimate emergency when he reportedly called the number because his girlfriend wanted to eat Sour Patch Kids candy. 

37-year-old Joshua Larson lives in Madeira Beach, Florida. 

Just before midnight on July 16, Larson was at his home with his girlfriend. It was reported that the woman told Larson that she wanted to eat Sour Patch Kids candy.

When the police were trying to detain a man in the middle of the street during a rainstorm, the suspect began to dance around and twerking in a purported attempt to mock and resist them.

57-year-old Richard Wolfe is from Crystal River, Florida.

Around noon on September 7, Wolfe was reportedly driving his SUV down State Road 44 in Inverness.

The man who was elected to serve as the new mayor of Sharpsburg, North Carolina, on May 8 has been accused of driving while impaired and five additional charges approximately one hour after winning the race.

Robert L. Williams Jr. has attempted to run for the position of mayor of the small town of Sharpsburg a total of three times. After losing the elections in 2013 and 2017 Williams went up against incumbent Randy Weaver for the position in the 2018 election last Tuesday.

After the voting at the polls had concluded and were counted Williams was announced the new mayor holding 51 percent of the votes.
