When a driver was found with cases of liquor filling the passenger side of his vehicle during a traffic stop, he was placed under arrest for allegedly violating a Massachusetts law limiting the amount one is able to carry.

Around 7:30 pm on November 9, an officer’s attention was caught by a driver changing lanes on I-495 in a manner that he felt was improper. When it was reportedly noticed that the vehicle’s inspection tags had not been properly renewed since June 2017 he decided to pull him over.

After he approached the Chevy Suburban, the trooper reported that he saw cases of alcohol stacked on the floor of the passenger side which nearly reached the roof of the SUV. The cases allegedly held many bottles, an estimated $36,000 worth, of different spirits such as Jameson, Jack Daniels, and Ketel One.

36-year-old James Hensley was the owner and president of Knoxville Auto Brokers in Knoxville, Tennessee, from 2012 until the day he shut his business down last April.

When Hensley closed his doors for good he allegedly left some of the clients of his establishment with financial problems because he accepted trade-in vehicles from them with the understanding that the car dealership would finish paying off any outstanding balances owed on those automobiles. When he did not comply with the contractual agreements to make the payments the original owners were sent bills for the amount that was still owed.

Six months after Knoxville Auto Brokers went out of business Hensley had his license allowing him to sell cars in Tennessee revoked by the state based on charges alleging that he failed to provide a total of 24 titles to the new owners of vehicles that customers had purchased from him.

A 39 year old Los Angeles woman, Jennifer Choi, was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison on Thursday after pleading guilty to stealing nearly $1 million over her 10 year career.

Choi’s job was to schedule hairstyling and makeup services for HBO’s actors and actresses. Without HBO’s knowledge, Choi developed her own company called Shine Glossy, which claimed to provide makeup and styling services, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Through her company, Shine Glossy, she submitted phony invoices for services that were not provided, falsely using the names of actors, making the invoices appear legitimate.
