The new principal of a high school on Florida’s Gulf Coast was arrested on multiple charges during a traffic stop after the police reportedly found him driving under the influence with drugs in his car.

Just after 1:00 am on August 2, the 40-year-old principal of Leto High School in Tampa was driving his Sedan in the nearby town of Temple Terrace. The vehicle was spotted by officers from the Temple Terrace Police Department, and they performed a traffic stop because they believed he was driving faster than the posted speed limit. According to reports, the driver pulled over without incident.

When the officers interacted with the man, they thought he seemed like he had been drinking alcohol. He was given a roadside sobriety test, but it was reported that he did not do well. A search of his vehicle was conducted by the officers, and when they looked in the center console, they allegedly discovered white powder in five separate baggies. It was reported that when it was tested, the results showed that the substance was cocaine.

A Texas man could spend 20 years in prison if he is convicted of the charges filed against him after the police allegedly found a firearm, drugs, and paraphernalia in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

According to reports, a 38-year-old man suspected of distributing methamphetamine and fentanyl was recently driving his Ford F-250 on the Interstate. His vehicle was spotted by officers from the Midland Police Department, who reported that they saw him speeding, swerving between traffic lanes, and driving on the shoulder of the road. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver pulled over without incident. When officers looked in the vehicle, they noted that a woman was in the passenger seat. They saw a jar on the driver’s side, and they believed it contained narcotics. When the contents were inspected, the authorities reported that it was an ounce of fentanyl powder, an ounce of methamphetamine, and several prescription pills for erectile dysfunction. During a search of the truck, a loaded pistol was allegedly found. The man was taken into custody, and he exercised his right to remain silent. The passenger reportedly told the police there were additional firearms and narcotics at the suspect’s residence.

The man was booked into the Midland County Detention Center. He was initially facing a first-degree felony charge of manufacture and/or delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1, weighing more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams.

A Florida man with a felony criminal history is facing several charges after the police interacted with him during a traffic stop and accused him of driving with firearms while intoxicated, when he had a baby in the vehicle.

On May 2, a man from Palm Coast was driving locally in an SUV with two passengers: a woman and an 8-month-old. The SUV caught the attention of another motorist, who believed they saw the driver holding guns. They did not think the firearms were being used to harm anyone, but they notified the authorities to let them know about the situation.

Deputies from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office went to the area where the caller reported seeing the SUV, and they quickly located it. They reported that the vehicle was being operated erratically, and they pulled over the driver. When they looked inside, they allegedly found two guns, ammunition, and a drink believed to be an alcoholic beverage. According to reports, the man, who was found to have several prior felony arrests, did not perform well on the roadside sobriety tests.

Chelsea Belle O’Donnell, daughter of Rosie O’Donnell, was arrested on drug-related charges for a third time since October after police allegedly found narcotics and paraphernalia in her vehicle during a traffic stop.

Since the beginning of the fall, Chelsea O’Donnell has been involved in several run-ins with the law resulting in arrests and charges. On September 10, O’Donnell was arrested on suspicion of felony maintaining a drug trafficking place, felony child neglect, felony possession of methamphetamine, and felony possession of THC. Her second arrest on October 11 brought about additional charges for felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of narcotic drugs, and felony bail jumping, in addition to misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Most recently, on November 18, the 27-year-old was driving in Niagara, Wisconsin, when an officer believed her exhaust was too loud and performed a traffic stop. The woman pulled over, and it was learned that she had been out on bond for five days. Her vehicle was searched, and the police allegedly found a pipe believed to be used for smoking meth, and Naloxone. Additional drugs, including lamotrigine, alprazolam, hydrocodone pills, and methamphetamine were reportedly located on her when she was searched at the jail.

A 40-year-old man from Joliet found himself facing several charges after reportedly resisting arrest and trying to kick police officers during a routine traffic stop last week.

According to reports, officers from the Joliet Police Department spotted the driver of a van that reportedly failed to use his turn signal. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver pulled over without incident. After he stopped the van, instead of staying inside the vehicle, the man allegedly got out and started walking away. The officers verbally tried to get him to stop, but he reportedly completely ignored them.

Before long, the man sat down on the sidewalk and the police were able to approach him. The officers suspected that the man was under the influence of an intoxicant, and they wanted to make sure he settled down. When they tried to grab him the man pulled away and stood up.

After a routine traffic stop reportedly led to a police standoff, the lead singer of the band “Puddle of Mudd” was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant and resisting arrest.

Wes Scantlin has been the 52-year-old lead singer and guitarist of the post-grunge band Puddle of Mudd since its formation in 1991. Over the years, Scantlin has had several legal issues for a variety of reasons. In 2002 and 2013, he was accused of domestic abuse, in addition to pleading guilty to cocaine possession in the summer of 2012. In 2017, Scantlin was arrested again when he reportedly tried to get on an airplane with a BB gun at the Los Angeles International Airport.

On July 31, someone later identified as Scantlin was driving a Hummer in Burbank when a law enforcement officer initiated a traffic stop. Scantlin initially pulled over, but when the police found out that he had an outstanding arrest warrant for the incident at LAX he allegedly started resisting.

A Delaware man is facing several charges after a traffic stop over a driving violation allegedly led to the discovery of a large stash of cocaine and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.

According to reports, just before 5:00 PM on July 16, someone later identified as a 34-year-old man from Dover was driving an Acura MDX around the Seaford area. A deputy spotted his vehicle as he turned a corner and reportedly failed to use his turn signal.

After initiating a traffic stop, the deputy reported that the driver appeared to be ignoring them since he did not pull over right away. When they got to a dead end, the man stopped and got out of the vehicle. It was reported that the exchange between the driver and the deputy was further complicated when the man allegedly hit him multiple times and ignored the law enforcement officer’s orders when they tried to arrest him. Before he was detained, the man was reportedly able to run away. Within moments, he was caught by the police.

Oklahoma State Cowboys star running back Ollie Gordon II was accused of driving under the influence of alcohol last weekend when the police found two open containers in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

20-year-old Ollie Gordon II began his trek to fame in 2020 when he was dubbed Male High School Athlete of the Year by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. In 2022, he decided to take his career to Oklahoma State, where he remains as the team’s running back.

Early in the morning on June 30, Gordon was driving his Cadillac on the Interstate. A trooper from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol noticed the vehicle as it allegedly sped by at 82 MPH when the posted speed limit was 65. The trooper noted that the car swerved over the lines of the designated lane twice, and they decided to pull over the driver.

A Pennsylvania mother was suspected of driving under the influence with her 4-year-old in the car, and when the police interacted with the child, he allegedly handed them a bag of drugs and said he was hiding medicine.

On the afternoon of June 18, a 33-year-old woman from East McKeesport was driving a Chevy Equinox in Allegheny County with her 4-year-old son as a passenger. She reportedly stopped and got out of the vehicle, and then climbed back in.

A concerned citizen saw the occurrence, and they called the authorities to report it. Officers were dispatched to the area to search for the vehicle and investigate the situation.

A man who is on probation for drug crimes was allegedly caught with 50 grams of fentanyl and several other substances when the driver of a car he was in was pulled over. 

On September 16, a 28-year-old from Vero Beach was a passenger seated in the back of a vehicle when the driver allegedly ran a stop sign. 

The alleged failure to stop was spotted by officers from the Vero Beach Police Department, and they performed a traffic stop.
