According to court documents, the alleged victim eventually escaped the residence and ran to a neighbor’s home for help. She reportedly told investigators that the suspect had consumed several vodka and cranberry drinks before passing out, allowing her to get away.

Investigators said the woman suffered a severe head injury during the incident. According to the affidavit, she reported that the suspect repeatedly struck her with a metal water bottle, causing a deep wound that exposed part of her skull. Authorities alleged that after the injury occurred, he forced her into a bathroom and attempted to close the wound using superglue. Deputies also observed bruising around her neck.

A 19-year-old Wyoming man was charged with several felonies after authorities said he led officers on a dangerous pursuit, crashed into a tanker truck, and remained in a standoff for more than four hours.

According to court documents, the incident began when authorities responded to a welfare check after receiving a report that the man was intoxicated, had access to a firearm, and had sent concerning messages. Officers located him sitting in a Cadillac with a gun pointed at himself. When they approached, he allegedly drove away.

An Ohio mother and father are facing separate criminal charges after a series of events that allegedly began with a confrontation at an apartment complex and ended with a traffic stop involving their three children.

According to police, the situation started on December 28 at an apartment complex in Solon. A man contacted authorities to report that his ex-girlfriend had been repeatedly calling and sending messages. He told police he ignored the communication until she allegedly arrived at the apartment he shared with two other adults and began banging on the door. One of the residents later told officers that the woman threatened to shoot her, and she requested a protection order.

After the incident was reported, the woman voluntarily went to the Solon Police Department to speak with officers. She denied making any threats and told the officers she had brought her three children—ages 4, 5, and 12—who were waiting in her vehicle.
