A 62-year-old Florida man was accused of choosing to celebrate his birthday by trying to have sexual relations with a teenage girl.
Anthony Lartrist Petty lives in Seminole, Florida, which is approximately 20 miles away from Tampa. He turned 62 years old on August 21.
On August 18, Petty was reportedly using the mobile messaging app “KIK.”
A man who has been on the sex offender registry since he was a child was accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in Wichita Falls.
When he was 12, now 36-year-old Joshua Samuel Gravens was convicted of a sex crime for inappropriately touching his younger sister. When Gravens was sentenced, he was ordered to keep his name on the sex offender registry.
In 2009, Gravens was living in Wichita Falls and failed to register on time, and he was charged with a felony.

It was reported that the pair went on social media and offered three underage girls money if they performed sex acts. Two of the alleged victims, one of whom is 14, live in a foster home.
A man in Oregon was accused of kidnapping and raping a 13-year-old girl from Canada who was reportedly found at his home after she was missing for over a week.
It was reported by the Edmonton Police Service that on June 24, a 13-year-old girl was marked absent from school. She also did not return to her home in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada after the school day had ended. The teen’s family reported her missing.
