A babysitter in Indiana was accused of instructing youngsters on how to snort drugs off a ramen noodle cup lid after the mother came home and saw her children were out cold.

On the evening of June 27, a mother of three children, ages 8, 9, and 15, left her youngsters in the care of a 24-year-old babysitter. The mother planned to retrieve the kids around 5:00 the following evening after she finished work.

The mom returned to the woman’s home as planned, and she was sitting on the front porch when she got there.

A teenage babysitter in Florida is facing felony charges for reportedly recording a video that allegedly showed a 1-year-old smoking marijuana after she placed a joint in the baby’s mouth. 

On March 23, the 16-year-old mother of a 1-year-old little girl left her baby under the care of her 17-year-old friend in her Largo residence. 

According to reports, the babysitter is a pot smoker, and she reportedly lit up while she was babysitting the child.

The husband of a woman who babysits for more than one family was arrested after the authorities alleged that he sexually abused several youngsters while they were in her care.

On December 20, the authorities in Lebanon, Missouri, were alerted by the Missouri Department of Social Services Children’s Division. They were told about a seven-year-old girl’s conversation with her school counselor. The child reportedly said that her babysitter’s husband had forced her to take part in sexual acts.

According to a press release from the Lebanon Police Department, an investigation was opened, and they believed they located the responsible party.

46-year-old Lauren Tracy lives in Mammoth Lakes. She has a 5-year-old child.

It was reported that at some point over the weekend, Tracy stepped out and left her child by themselves. 

Around 7:00 pm, a babysitter hired through a service showed up at the vacation home and figured she would meet with the mother of the child who would be left in her care.

A toddler who tested positive for cocaine was reportedly horribly burned by his babysitter, who allegedly denied him medical care for days after the incident occurred.  

38-year-old Natoyia Danelle Barbee lives in Durham, North Carolina. 

At the beginning of July, Barbee had a 2-year-old boy and his two siblings staying at her home. Their mother had gone out of town and left Barbee in charge of the youngsters.

29-year-old Luis Heredia’s mother babysits for a 9-year-old boy at her home. The woman has surveillance cameras in the living room. 

Heredia was reportedly in the house on occasions when the child was in his mother’s care.

A Missouri woman is facing murder charges after an 8-month-old she was sitting for died while in her care.

44-year-old Jennifer Anne Johnson lives in Fayette, Missouri.

On April 17, Johnson reportedly took responsibility for babysitting an 8-month-old and her three siblings while their parents were away overnight.

A 5-year-old boy lost his life after his babysitter allegedly horrifically abused him causing trauma to his brain and internal organs.

Laurren Jeanette Courtney is a 22-year-old self-employed entertainer in Las Vegas.

Since August, Courtney has supplemented her income by providing sitting services to a family with a 5-year-old son and a 7-year-old daughter. Courtney reportedly sat for the children between 3 and 5 days per week.

The dean of a Florida school and his wife were arrested after it was reportedly discovered that they gave marijuana and alcohol to their teenage babysitter and her underage friends for years.

38-year-old Adam Thayer is the dean of students at the Pinellas Academy for Math and Science charter school. Thayer and his wife, 37-year-old Misty Mitchell-Thayer, reside in the unincorporated community of Palm Harbor in Pinellas County, Florida with their 7-year-old twins.

Approximately two years ago, a girl who is now 17-years-old was providing babysitting services for the Thayer’s children.

A Utah woman caring for a 4-month-old was reportedly found at an out-of-state International airport after allegedly kidnapping the baby.

On November 5, 31-year-old Emily Marissa Luciano reportedly accepted the role of caring for three siblings. The youngest of the children is 4-months-old, and his older siblings are ages 1 and 5.

When their mother left her children in Luciano’s care, their alleged agreement was that they would stay at her home for the night and come home the next morning.
