According to reports, a man in Connecticut was arrested and charged in connection with 25 vehicle break-ins that were recently reported to the authorities, with one including the theft of a firearm.

The local police began investigating the reports, and an officer who was patrolling in the downtown Shelton area reportedly identified a vehicle believed to be one of the automobiles that had been illegally entered. The officer located the automobile in a nearby parking lot, and a man was sitting in the driver’s seat. When the officer walked up to the vehicle, the driver allegedly tried to speed away and reportedly almost crashed into the police car. Though that accident was narrowly avoided, the driver collided with another automobile.

The suspect reportedly quickly got out of the car and tried to run away. The officer chased after the man, and when he was caught, he was identified as a 27-year-old from Bridgeport. He was reportedly carrying a bag, and when it was searched, a flashlight, ski mask, and several sets of car keys were allegedly found inside. Officers also reportedly found a firearm believed to be the one that had been reported stolen.

A Pennsylvania pair are facing charges after fentanyl, three pounds of methamphetamine, and an unconscious passenger were reportedly found in their car during a traffic stop.

On February 28, state police spotted a vehicle driving down the Interstate that they believed was not leaving enough distance between their car and the vehicle in front of them. They performed a traffic stop, and the driver was identified as an 84-year-old local man. It was noted that two women passengers were in the car – a 34-year-old in the front, and a 57-year-old in the back seat who appeared to be sleeping.

When they tried to wake her, the troopers reported that she had no pulse, and they gave her CPR until a team of emergency medical technicians arrived. Her pulse was restored through additional CPR, and she was taken to a local hospital.

A Florida woman believed to be stealing electricity from the power company was arrested on a multitude of charges after allegedly siccing her dogs on investigating employees and responding law enforcement.

According to reports, a woman from Lake Wales recently had the power turned off at her residence. On February 25, the 28-year-old spotted two employees from Duke Energy on her property. They were sent to the home to see if the resident had found a way to illegally use the electricity. The woman, who has two Great Danes, allegedly unleashed the dogs and commanded them to attack the workers. They called the authorities to report the incident, and a deputy from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office went to the address to investigate.

After he arrived and began interacting with her, the deputy reported that the woman called 911. The woman allegedly sicced her dogs on the deputy, preventing him from taking her into custody. The deputies who responded to the woman’s call assisted in detaining her.

A man from Southeastern Florida was arrested after being accused of sending text messages containing nude photos and video of his ex-girlfriend to her three minor children.

According to reports, a woman from Coral Springs who is the mother of three children had been dating a 38-year-old man for approximately three and a half years before they broke things off a few days before Christmas. During their time together, the woman sent multiple nude images to her boyfriend, and he reportedly kept the content after they broke up. Three days after the relationship ended, the man allegedly illegally used the material.

On December 23, the woman was at home with her children, and her son told her he received text messages containing nude pictures. One of her daughters overheard the exchange, and she let her mom know that she was also sent the images. Moments later, the woman heard multiple text notifications on her 6-year-old daughter’s phone. The child’s brother and sister got the device from the youngster before she could open the messages.

An internet content creator from southwestern New Hampshire is facing charges after reportedly recording videos that allegedly showed her urinating on food items in grocery stores and posting the footage on social media.

According to a press release from the Keene Police Department, on February 14, they received an anonymous tip about disturbing content posted to an undisclosed social media site. They reported that they saw videos a woman uploaded of herself urinating on packaged foods at a grocery store identified as Monadnock Food Co-Op. After investigating the report, the police informed the grocery store about the situation. They collected and watched the surveillance videos from the time and date the incident reportedly occurred. The alleged offender appeared to be the same woman in the social media content.

On February 21, the 23-year-old was taken into custody on preliminary charges of criminal mischief (Class B felony). She was later released on personal recognizance bail. She is scheduled to appear in court on April 7. The investigation is ongoing, and after watching multiple videos posted from the same online account, the authorities reported that they believed they had evidence of the suspect contaminating food with her urine at different stores over the past four years. They also reported that it is likely that additional charges will be added.

A Connecticut woman was arrested last week after allegedly causing a wreck while driving under the influence with a 2-year-old in her car.

On the morning of February 24, a 35-year-old woman from East Hartford was driving on the Interstate with a 2-year-old in her vehicle. When she reached her exit and entered the ramp, the woman allegedly smashed into the back of another car. The authorities were notified, and state police troopers went to the location. When they arrived and inspected the site, they noted that no injuries were sustained by the people involved, and they believed the crash occurred because the woman failed to leave enough space between her car and the vehicle in front of her.

According to reports, when she talked to the troopers, the woman reportedly said she couldn’t stop fast enough to avoid hitting the other vehicle. The troopers believed she was acting as if she was intoxicated, and she allegedly performed poorly when taking roadside sobriety tests. Her vehicle was searched, and paraphernalia and substances believed to be crack and fentanyl were allegedly found. She reportedly admitted to using drugs before she got behind the wheel.

When police went to a man’s New Jersey residence to arrest him on an alleged restraining order violation, they reportedly found that he was using his garage as an illegal lab.

According to reports, a 53-year-old man from West Deptford was recently accused of violating an active restraining order against him. The local police got a warrant, and on the morning of February 20, they went to his home to serve him. It was around 11:00 AM when officers from the West Deptford Police arrived, and the man was found in his garage, which is detached from the dwelling.

When the police went into the garage, they unexpectedly reportedly found materials they believed were hazardous and potentially explosive. They asserted that the building was being used as a lab. The New Jersey State Police joined the investigation, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, HAZMAT teams, and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. It was reported that in an effort to assure no one was put in harm’s way, the street was closed while the hours-long investigation was conducted.

A Texas woman is facing charges after allegedly threatening her husband with a kitchen knife following an argument over a gift she did not like.

According to reports, a woman from McClellan told her husband that she wanted a bracelet for Valentine’s Day. He presented her with a present in the morning on the holiday, and when his wife opened it, she saw he had purchased a necklace for her. She allegedly became agitated because he did not gift her the bracelet. The man was annoyed by her unappreciative attitude, and he left the house to go to work.

It was around 4:00 PM when the man got home, and the couple started to argue again. He decided to leave the house again for a few hours to see if some time apart would calm things down, but his plan was reportedly unsuccessful. When he came back a few hours later, he reported that his wife was still very upset, and she allegedly walked up to him with a large kitchen knife in her hand. The woman reportedly yelled at him while allegedly pointing the blade in his direction. It was reported that she also taunted him by telling him to “Come and get it.”

A Florida woman was arrested after allegedly hiding a missing teenage boy she had been trying to adopt.

On February 10, a teenage boy was reported missing from an academy that provides care for children who have had multiple unsuccessful foster placements. He had been given permission to visit a local park, but when staff went to pick him up, he was not there. When the authorities were notified, they began investigating, and learned that earlier that day, the boy had been involved in an incident with a woman who volunteers at the academy.

According to reports, the woman had been in the process of trying to adopt the teen, but she was ordered to cut off all contact with him. When she talked to the authorities, she reportedly said the last time she saw him was at the park, and she had only gone there to give him food. When asked if she knew where he might have gone, she suggested that they search the Tampa area.

While a man was being arrested for driving under the influence, he reportedly threatened the lives of several officers and urinated in the back of the police car.

Just before midnight on February 16, a 35-year-old man from Thomasville was driving in West Manchester Township with his dog in his vehicle. He was allegedly driving over the posted speed limit, and it caught the attention of an officer from the West Manchester Township Police Department. The officer performed a traffic stop.

When first interacting with the driver, the officer reported that the man did not believe there was a legitimate reason he was pulled over and would not show his driver’s license when asked. It was reported that he said he had knives with him, in addition to a gun, for which he had a concealed carry permit. The man informed the officer that he was in a rush because his dog had a seizure and needed medical attention, and it was noted that the officer believed he smelled like he had been drinking alcohol.
