Two men in Southern Florida are facing charges after allegedly using a special device to help them steal over $1,000 worth of diesel gasoline that the authorities believe they were going to resell.

On the morning of July 19, two men in a van pulled into a West Palm Beach Wawa gas station and parked next to one of the diesel fuel pumps. According to reports, the pair were there for at least 20 minutes, and the unusually extended transaction time caught the attention of an asset protection specialist. When they realized the gas had been pumping the entire time, one of the employees at the location and the police were notified.

Officers from the West Palm Beach Police Department went to the location to investigate, and when they arrived, they found that the suspects were still there. They reported that the gasoline smell was strong when they approached the van. The vehicle was searched, and the officers reportedly found a device the men allegedly used to “bypass the circuitry” in the pump so the gas would flow without it registering on the meter. The gadget also appeared to have caused significant damage to the pump.

A man driving through Marion County with an allegedly poop-covered and unrestrained baby, two pit bulls, and drugs in the vehicle reportedly told the dogs to attack the deputies during his arrest.

Early in the evening on July 27, the authorities received a call informing them that there was a fight taking place on the side of the road. Deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office went to the location, and when the first one arrived, they said they saw the driver throwing something out his car window. When he approached, the deputy reported that there were two dogs identified as pit bulls, in the car. A baby, who was reported as being nude and covered in excrement was in the vehicle without a car seat.

It was reported that the deputy asked the driver to get out of the car several times, but the man would not cooperate. He allegedly rolled down the window far enough for the dogs to fit their head through and made threatening comments that led the deputy to believe he might allow them to attack him.

A Florida woman is facing multiple felony charges after the police reportedly found her in possession of a purse labeled “Bag of Drugs,” which was allegedly filled with narcotics and paraphernalia.

Late in the morning on July 27 in St. Petersburg, a 41-year-old woman was riding as a passenger in her vehicle while her friend was at the wheel. A trooper from the Florida Highway Patrol spotted the vehicle and reported that they believed the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver pulled over without incident.

When the trooper walked up to the car, they went to the passenger side. When they first looked inside the vehicle, they reportedly saw a piece of foil and a plastic straw on the floor and believed it had been used for drug consumption. The rest of the interior was searched, and in addition to an open container of alcohol, the authorities found a purse marked with the words “Bag of Drugs.”

A Georgia teen incarcerated for allegedly engaging in bestiality with the family dog had additional charges added after he reportedly struck a fellow inmate for making animal sounds.

According to reports, at the end of May, an 18-year-old from Monroe County left the house to take the family dog for a walk. His family believed he had been gone for longer than they expected, and his sister went to look for them. She found them in the yard, and her brother reportedly had his pants pulled down. She said it appeared as if he was trying to make the Great Dane have intercourse with him, and she told their parents what she believed she saw.

The family notified the authorities about the situation, and an investigator from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department went to the home. They spoke to the man’s family, who told them that this was not the first time he had sexual relations with an animal. They claimed that in addition to the current incident with the dog, he also did sexual things with a donkey in the past.

A Florida woman suspected of driving under the influence with her baby in the back seat of her vehicle got into an accident that caused her Jeep to flip on its side, and she allegedly left the child trapped inside. 

Early in the morning on July 25, a 21-year-old mother was driving in Clermont with her baby as a backseat passenger. According to reports, the woman had been drinking alcohol before getting behind the wheel. Around 4:00 AM, she was making a U-turn when something caused the vehicle to tip over onto its side and land in a ditch on the side of the road. The woman exited the Jeep, but she reportedly intentionally left the baby inside.

A bystander noticed the Jeep in the ditch and wanted to call 911, and the woman reportedly asked them not to call the authorities, but to help her retrieve the baby instead. They called for help despite her request, and officers from the Clermont Police Department went to the location.

A prison employee who brought a bowl of frozen lasagna to work was arrested when cocaine and marijuana were allegedly found hidden in between the layers of the pasta dish.

On the morning of July 3, a 46-year-old woman who has worked as a nursing assistant at the Indiana State Prison for over two decades headed to the facility for her shift. When she walked in, she was carrying a bowl of frozen lasagna. When entering the prison, items must be scanned with an X-ray machine. It was reported that something was seen in the lasagna that caught the attention of the officer when he viewed the image. A second officer inspected it and reported that they agreed something didn’t seem right. When she was asked for consent, the woman said she had no problem with them searching through the food, which she said she got from one of her friends. She also gave them permission to search her cell phone.

The authorities reported that they discovered three packages wrapped in electrical tape were hidden in the lasagna. When they tested the contents, they reported that they positively identified 84 grams of cocaine and 49 grams of marijuana. They asked the woman about the drugs, and she said she had no idea anything illegal was in the food.

A 7-Eleven in Northern Virginia was reportedly visited by an intoxicated man who carelessly waved around a firearm after he was told he could not purchase alcohol.

It was just after midnight on July 21, and a man walked into the convenience store located in Stafford. Based on his behavior, the employees believed he had been drinking. He tried to buy alcohol, but he was told that it was too late for them to sell it. He reportedly became agitated, and before leaving the store he allegedly pulled out a handgun and swung it around.

After he took off, the authorities were notified, and deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office went to the store. The person they believed was the suspect was quickly found traveling in a car with a passenger. A traffic stop was performed, and the driver and passenger were identified as two 30-year-old men from the local area. When the vehicle was searched, the deputies reportedly found a mostly empty bottle of tequila and two guns.

Two people from Kentucky were arrested for drug trafficking after a long-term investigation allegedly revealed that they created videos of themselves making drugs and posted the content on their TikTok accounts.

Early this year, the authorities were notified about two people who might be involved in drug trafficking of marijuana. It was claimed that material was posted to their accounts on TikTok that appeared to depict them making products containing drugs. The reports resulted in the Kentucky State Police opening an investigation into the claims.

A couple of months later, an undercover drug sale was set up. A detective posing as a client made arrangements to meet the woman in the parking lot of a grocery store. When they met, the detective reported that she told them she had just made a sale for 1000 packages of products a few days prior to their current transaction.

A Rhode Island man who turned himself in last week for an active arrest warrant is facing multiple charges after allegedly driving under the influence in 2023 and causing a crash that severely injured a passenger.

In May 2023, a woman reportedly blacked out after having drinks with a male friend. She believed the man put her in his car and started to drive her home, but before they arrived, they were in an accident. According to investigators, she was not wearing a seatbelt when they crashed, and she was thrown from the car. While the driver was only mildly hurt, the woman was flown to a nearby hospital for serious injuries that required her to undergo surgery.

The man reportedly told the authorities that he lost control of the vehicle, and when he tried to stop, he was unable to. He also said he recently had mechanical issues with the car but had not yet taken it to an auto shop.

A woman who was reportedly upset that her fiancé asked her to sign a prenuptial agreement allegedly became physically violent towards him and his brother during the dispute.

According to reports, an engaged couple who live together in St. Petersburg planned their wedding for July 27. On July 21, while other people were present, things between the couple turned sour. The woman reportedly became angry over a prenup that her betrothed expected her to sign prior to the ceremony. The fight reportedly turned physical when she allegedly started to hit her significant other while holding him by the head.

Her future mate’s brother was one of the individuals who reportedly saw the argument as it unfolded, and he decided to try to calm things down when he saw his sibling unsuccessful in his attempts to disengage. When he stepped in, the woman allegedly began biting the man.
