After a Woodway man who was accused of sexually assaulting a child for six years was arrested, the youngster’s mother reportedly defended him and said the girl lied.

According to reports, on November 17, an 11-year-old girl who attends River Valley Elementary School went to a counselor and reported that she was being sexually abused at home by a man who lives with her. She reportedly said the 37-year-old would go out and return home very drunk, and though she tried to hide in her room, he would enter and sexually abuse her. She also told them it started when she was 5 years old and was ongoing. The school notified Child Protective Services to report the situation.

The McLennan Police Department opened a file, and investigators began to look into the claims. The investigators spoke to the child’s mother, who has two other youngsters, and she reportedly said that the man, who hadn’t worked in several years, stayed home and watched the kids while she went to work. Additionally, the woman alleged that her daughter made up the story about being sexually abused because she wanted to be sent to live with her grandparents. It was reported that she also allegedly defended the man and said he was an “idiot, immature, and inappropriate, but not a sexual predator.”

An Alabama man was arrested for drug-related offenses in Florida when the authorities found him outside a residence seated in his truck with a parrot on his shoulder.

On the morning of December 15, a man driving a truck reportedly pulled up to a residence in Chipley, a Northwest Florida city in the panhandle. He exited the vehicle and allegedly started banging on the door. The residents reportedly told him to leave their property several times, but the man allegedly disregarded their requests.

He returned to his truck, but the man remained parked in front of the home. The residents notified the authorities and reported the situation.

A Florida woman is facing several charges after she was allegedly caught selling drugs out of her apartment, including providing candies and snacks laced with THC to local children.

According to reports, a 32-year-old woman who lives in Tampa was reported to the authorities when it was suspected that she was selling fentanyl. Agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement opened an investigation in October, and they began to watch the woman’s activities. They also set up undercover purchases to see if she would sell to the agents.

By the middle of November, the woman had allegedly conducted three different drug sales with undercover agents. They reported that the total weight of the fentanyl from all three of the transactions was nearly two ounces. It was also alleged that she was holding her child while making a drug sale.

A Florida man who has a long criminal history is facing charges after he allegedly pelted a convenience store worker with a piece of chicken coated with spicy sauce because he did not think it was fully cooked.

Early in the morning on December 17, a 32-year-old man from St. Petersburg walked into a local Wawa convenience store. While he was there, he ordered chicken covered with spicy Nashville sauce.

According to reports, when he received his food and began to eat it, he believed that it was undercooked. The man allegedly got angry and decided to bring it back to the counter, and he issued his complaint to the employee who initially served him. Few words were spoken before the man allegedly used the chicken to batter the worker. He allegedly threw the underprepared poultry in the direction of the employee, and it struck them in the face. The fiery sauce reportedly splashed into the worker’s eye.

A Florida man’s uncle is facing a felony after buying him a sandwich and allegedly poisoning it by dousing it in Visine eye drops to make him sick.

On the evening of December 13, a man went to a convenience store in Pinellas Park that he visits regularly. When he was talking to the clerk, he reportedly told them he was suffering from dry eyes. He asked to purchase a bottle of Visine. The man started to discuss the tense relationship he has with his nephew, with whom he resides and allegedly expressed hatred towards him.

The man reportedly opened a container holding a meatball sandwich and started pouring the Visine all over the food. The clerk, who reportedly saw the man dousing the sandwich with the eye drops, said he tried to tell him it could cause someone harm if they ingested the food.

When a woman riding in an Uber became frustrated by the driver going too slowly for her liking, she allegedly stole the car and drove herself to the airport.

Early in the morning on December 10, a woman from Orange County, California, was in Austin, Texas, getting ready to get on a flight. She ordered an Uber to take her to the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Shortly after, a woman with the rideshare company arrived, and they began their trip.

According to reports, the driver was not going as fast as the passenger wanted, and she became aggravated and started to complain. When she failed to speed up, the passenger allegedly got ahold of the driver’s cell phone and reportedly threw it out the window onto the busy street.

A woman from Utah who has gone viral on TikTok is facing legal action after reportedly harassing the family that lives next door, including their youngsters, with racist comments.

According to reports, a woman in Midvale who lives next door to a Black family has been confronting them with racial slurs and foul language since last May. Several videos of the encounters were recorded and posted on TikTok, where they went viral.

Last summer, the woman reportedly approached the mom, who was very pregnant, and poked her in the stomach before shoving her with both hands on her belly. Some of the neighbors reported that they witnessed the encounter, and a video was posted on TikTok. The family reported the ongoing issues to the authorities and the homeowner’s association.

A Florida woman heading home from dinner and dancing was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence, even though her blood alcohol level was inconsistent with the accusation.

On the evening of December 8, a 66-year-old woman from the Ivystone Villas in The Villages visited the Spanish Springs Town Square to eat dinner and dance. While she ate, she reportedly drank two glasses of wine. When the woman was on the dance floor, she ran into a man who did not want to keep his hands to himself and decided to leave the establishment.

It was reported that around 8:30 PM, after the woman departed in her Toyota, she was seen by a deputy with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office who asserted that she was going 21 miles over the posted speed limit.

A couple who are biological scientists at the University of Florida are facing felony charges after it was discovered that they allegedly kept their youngsters in cages.

The parents have a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old. Recently, the older child was at school when he reportedly became upset about going back home. He reportedly told his teacher that he gets locked in a cage, and his younger sibling gets trapped under an overturned crib.

Their father works at the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, and their mother works as a safety manager at the Plant Pathology Department. According to reports, the 6-year-old said his dad leaves him locked in the cage while his mother is at work.

A man in Idaho could face up to fifteen years in prison if he is convicted of charges stemming from allegations that he tried to strangulate a woman using a necklace and a sock.

Early in the morning on December 10, a 40-year-old man was with a woman at a home in Idaho Falls. According to reports, an incident involving violent domestic violence occurred.

It was reported that the man, whose relationship with the woman has not currently been disclosed, allegedly grabbed her by the hair and forced her down a staircase and into a bedroom where he reportedly locked the door so she could not leave. He allegedly began to choke the woman with his hands and then used items including a necklace and a sock during the alleged strangulation.
