A motorist who was allegedly operating his vehicle in an irregular manner has been charged with driving under the influence, and testing revealed that his blood-alcohol level was recorded at a dangerously high percentage.

On Sunday afternoon, the authorities were notified by more than one person stating that a vehicle was weaving around the road and causing concern that an accident might occur.

When police located the vehicle they believed matched the description of the driver that the people reported they had him come to a stop. The officer who first approached the vehicle alleged that the driver, identified as 50-year-old Ricardo Portillo-Gonzalez, had the odor of alcohol on him.

An 11-year-old boy is facing legal consequences after he was accused of stealing his mother’s vehicle and leading the police on a high-speed chase because he was allegedly unhappy with his punishment after a dispute with her.

On the evening of October 4, Amber Eckert and her son reportedly got into a fight resulting in her taking possession of his Playstation gaming system. He was then sent to bed, and his mother turned in for the night as well.

After a little while, Eckert’s boyfriend woke her up and told her that it appeared that her car was missing, and he suspected that her son had taken it out on the road.

A mother who was driving with her three children on Saturday night collided with an object and when the police responded they alleged that the woman caused the mishap because she was operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

28-year-old Kianna Monique Pugh was driving in downtown Modesto, just over an hour from Sacramento, late in the evening on Saturday with her three children as passengers in the back seat.

Pugh was reportedly involved in a small accident around 11:30 pm when the vehicle she was operating made an impact with a fixture.

A motorist traveling down the interstate at an alleged high speed made an impact with the back of a travel trailer containing two horses, and one of the horses was hurt in the accident. The driver who allegedly caused the crash is suspected of having been under the influence of alcohol when the incident occurred.

On Saturday, in the pre-dawn hours, a man was traveling down the Interstate while transporting two horses to Texas. Around 2:30 am a vehicle crashed into the back of the trailer carrying the horses and destroyed the rear door.

One of the horses being transported, an 800-pound Appaloosa named Oliver, was flung around the inside of the trailer with force during the accident and he became free of his safety harness allowing him to exit the trailer. The animal was bleeding from his back leg, but he began to trot down the road a bit before the driver caught him and created a makeshift compression bandage to try to attend to the injury until emergency medical help arrived.

After a teenager crashed his car into the yard of a residence in Coachella and caused damage to the garage and two cars parked at the home he was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Just before 1:00 am on Friday, 18-year-old Zackery Fabian Camarena was allegedly driving above the speed limit in a residential area when his car veered toward the side of the road and ended up in the front yard of a house where two cars were parked.

Camarena’s Toyota Corolla reportedly hit a 2017 Cadillac XTS that was sitting in the driveway and the collision caused it to slam into and break through the garage door. A classic 1962 Chevrolet Impala was parked inside of the garage, and the Cadillac smashed through and barreled into it.

A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy was in an accident involving six automobiles in the early morning hours on June 16, for which he has been accused of causing by driving under the influence of alcohol.

Nicholas Smith was a new deputy hired by LA County Sheriff’s department where he remained employed for a period of six months.

On Sunday morning between 2:30 and 3:00 am Smith was reportedly driving his pickup truck through Palmdale while he was off duty, when he was suspected of allowing the vehicle to veer to the right on the road causing a collision with the rear end of a parked car that resulted in a domino effect when it smashed into four other vehicles.

A Palm Desert man believed to be driving under the influence was held responsible for an accident involving five cars that reportedly left one driver seriously injured. The allegedly intoxicated man also fled the scene after the initial incident occurred.

Just after 12:30 p.m. on Friday in Palm Desert five cars were involved in an accident that was allegedly caused by a man driving a Nissan Altima who is suspected of having been under the influence of alcohol and possibly drugs.

The Altima that the driver, later identified as 37-year-old Jeremy Tellez of Palm Desert, initially made impact with a Toyota Yaris and a Honda Civic in proximity of his vehicle. The driver of the Yaris hit the back end of a Toyota Highlander, and the Civic collided with an Ford F-150.

A father who was driving with his two teenage sons just after midnight on Wednesday was allegedly responsible for an accident when he made impact with a train in Santa Monica, and he is facing felony charges for the event.

54-year-old Anthony Manual Beltran Sr. of Waterford, Connecticut, was driving in Santa Monica with his two 16-year-old sons on April 18 at roughly 12:20 a.m.

Beltran reportedly failed to stop for a red light at an intersection causing his Kia sedan to smash into a moving Metro Expo Line train. When Santa Monica Police Department officers arrived at the scene they discovered the car with its airbags deployed and all of the passengers were in need of medical assistance. Officers suspected that Beltran had been drinking and they alleged that may have been the cause of the accident.

A Las Vegas elementary school teacher on her way to work last Tuesday morning was placed under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.

46-year-old April Shepard is a fourth-grade teacher at Tom Williams Elementary School, and she has worked within the Clark County School District for a total of 21 years.

As Shepard entered the school parking lot around 7:30 a.m. on the morning of April 3 she reportedly made impact with two parked vehicles. When she tried to get out of her car she was unable to steady herself and two parents nearby came to her assistance by helping her to stand.

A man riding his bicycle in Costa Mesa on Tuesday suffered from injuries after he was the victim of a hit and run incident. The alleged driver was detained after police sought public assistance through social media.

Around 8:30 a.m. on March 20 a man was riding his bike near a Costa Mesa intersection when a car made impact with him. The vehicle left the 56-year-old man wounded on the side of the road and drove off.

Someone noticed the cyclist injured in the street and alerted the authorities after approaching to assist him. Costa Mesa police along with Costa Mesa Fire and Rescue proceeded to the scene of the accident. The man was taken to a local hospital and diagnosed with a compound fracture of the ankle.
