An Arizona man reportedly broke police equipment and assaulted three officers while resisting being arrested for allegedly stealing a few drinks from a Starbucks.

Late in the afternoon on May 16, a 31-year-old man visited a Starbucks in Maricopa. He ordered a few drinks, but before paying for them he allegedly ran out the door with the beverages.

The alleged theft was reported to the authorities, and officers with the Maricopa Police Department were dispatched to the coffee shop.

A man accused of driving under the influence reportedly told the authorities that he has been consuming liquor since he was a child and that he “drinks alcohol like it is coffee.” 

51-year-old James Fuerstenau is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. According to court records, he has been convicted DUIs on two occasions. 

On July 12, a Racine County sheriff’s deputy was on duty in Caledonia when she reported that she saw a vehicle being operated erratically on I-41/94.

A woman in Florida was accused of driving under the influence of alcohol after a deputy asserted that she smelled like spirits and was driving erratically. 

48-year-old Rachel Kay Paquette is originally from Michigan, but she currently lives in The Villages in Sumter County, Florida. 

On the afternoon of May 22, an on-duty law enforcement officer reportedly saw Paquette operating her vehicle in what they considered an unsafe manner.

A woman who was hired to take photographs at a wedding in Texas was arrested after she was accused of causing trouble by becoming inebriated, having sex with one of the guests, and urinating on a tree.

On November 24, a couple were married and celebrating their nuptials at the Parker Manor.

26-year-old Katie Mehta, a wedding photographer, was hired to take pictures of their special day, but she allegedly provided more than what was required of her job description.

A man has been accused of rape after reportedly initiating a non-consensual physical encounter with a woman who had just attended a #MeToo rally.

After going to a rally in support of the #MeToo movement created to give support to people who have survived sexual assault, a woman who attends Missouri State University made the acquaintance of a man who is enrolled at the college as well.

The pair decided to visit some of the local bars and have some drinks together before they headed back to the woman’s dorm room. The woman, who was intoxicated, invited the man, identified as 22-year-old Zachary Alperin, to sleep over as long as he kept his hands to himself.
