An elementary school PE teacher in Tennessee was suspended from his job after being arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and having drugs in his car.

On the afternoon of February 7, a man, later identified as a 39-year-old physical education teacher at John Sevier Elementary School, was driving down the Parkway in the direction of Alcoa. He was reportedly driving well over the posted speed limit and had allegedly ended up “in and out of ditches” while swerving down the road. Multiple motorists noticed the potentially unsafe situation, and the authorities received several reports about the vehicle.

An officer from the Alcoa Police Department was informed about the reports, and he began searching for the vehicle. The car was seen on the highway, and the officer, who had a K9 with him, pulled the driver over. When he began interacting with the driver, the officer reported that the man seemed intoxicated and smelled like alcohol. The K9 was near the vehicle and reportedly behaved in a way that caused the officer to believe drugs were inside. The driver allegedly gave permission for a search of his vehicle, and the officer reportedly found a substance wrapped in paper that was believed to be Fentanyl.

A Florida man is facing charges after allegations that he had been using social media to disclose his intention of seeking a young boy with whom to have a sexual encounter after one of the users of the service reported the details of their conversation to the police.

Kristopher Martin Oswald II, a 19-year-old man from Ocoee, Florida, has had prior legal issues pertaining to sex crimes when he was charged with possession of child pornography and promoting sexual performance by a child while he was a juvenile. During those proceedings, Oswald pleaded no contest to the charges and was formally judged as guilty. He was put on probation, and the records have been expunged due to his age at the time of the events.
