Two people are facing charges after an alleged arranged meeting for sex on the beach reportedly turned into a violent attack involving a hatchet.

Last week, a man was socializing with an 18-year-old female when he expressed that he had a desire to be tied up on the beach and sexually dominated. According to reports, the pair agreed to meet on the evening of October 30 in Ormond-By-The-Sea, an unincorporated area in Volusia County, to fulfill his wishes.

The woman said she would drive the pair to the location and picked up the man at his home. When they got to the area, the woman, who reportedly had a yellow rope with her, parked at Bicentennial Park so they could walk to a spot on the beach. When they sat down on the sand, the woman maintained a few feet of distance from the man, and he thought it was suspicious since they planned to be intimate. As she began putting the rope around his legs, the man decided he did not want to continue.
