Man Faking Down Syndrome Hires Aids for Diaper Changes

Three caregivers were hired to provide assistance to a man they believed had Down syndrome, and they allegedly discovered he lied about having the disorder in order to derive sexual gratification when they changed his diapers and cleaned his private parts.

A caregiver was hired for an assignment in May after she replied to an ad that she found on a site called CareLinx, where people seeking in-home aide can connect with people who can offer them the support they need.

The woman was offered the job after texting with someone named Amy, who she believed was the client’s mother. She was reportedly told that she would be attending to the needs of a 31-year-old man who has Down syndrome and needs his diapers changed, in addition to assistance when he bathes. She was further instructed that she should punish the man if he went to the bathroom in his diaper.

Man Asks Police to Confirm Authenticity of Meth Purchase

A Florida man contacted the local Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday to request their assistance when he became concerned that he had allegedly attempted to purchase methamphetamine but suspected that he may have received the wrong substance.

Northern Florida resident 49-year-old Douglas Peter Kelly reportedly bought what he believed was methamphetamine from a drug dealer.

After allegedly using the substance Kelly suffered from a bad reaction which caused him to wonder if the drug he purchased really was methamphetamine, or possibly had been cut with another substance.

71-Year-Old Man Allegedly Pistol-Whipped by Teen in Random Attack

Last weekend in Pomona a 71-year-old man reported that he was approached by a young man brandishing a gun, and pistol-whipped in an alleged assault.

Around 8:30 pm on Saturday, February 3, a Pomona resident was reportedly the victim of an unprovoked assault when an 18-year-old man that he did not know came up to him and began acting aggressively. The man was allegedly carrying a handgun and used it to assault the victim.

The authorities were notified and as soon as they were in sight, the suspected perpetrator, Pomona local Pablo Jimenez, fled the scene and attempted to hide inside of the bathroom at a local grocery store. When officers scouted the surrounding area they quickly located someone matching the description given to them by the victim, and they found Jimenez in the bathroom.
