After a months-long investigation, a Florida man wanted for his alleged participation in the theft of luxury automobiles worth over $2 million was jailed last week on multiple theft charges after turning himself in.

The Setai Miami Beach is an exclusive waterfront hotel with five-star accommodations. On July 24, four luxury cars were reported missing from the resort’s parking garage. The authorities were notified, and an investigation was opened.

When the police saw the footage provided by the hotel, they reported that at least three men appeared to be involved in the alleged vehicle thefts. The video reportedly showed someone breaking into the structure where the valet service stores the keys and swiping some fobs. The man then allegedly met with the others, and the trio appeared to drive away in two of the cars that were reported stolen. A few hours later, three individuals believed to be the same people entered the parking garage and allegedly stole two more vehicles.
