According to reports, early in the morning on March 26, a 25-year-old man was driving a Camry in Tampa with a couple of his friends in the car. The vehicle reportedly collided with a parked car and a 27-year-old pedestrian. The impact of the accident severed the man’s leg below his knee, and the parked vehicle was horribly damaged. The authorities were notified, and officers from the Tampa Police Department went to the site to investigate the incident.
The wounded man was immediately taken to the hospital for medical treatment, and when officers talked to the man identified as the driver, they believed he was intoxicated. The man and his friends allegedly gave them a hard time, and one of them reportedly hit him and one of the officers. The driver’s other friend also allegedly got physically aggressive with an officer,
