A man who was upset about missing items from his pizza order allegedly attacked a restaurant employee until the worker stabbed him in what the authorities reported was an act of self-defense. 

40-year-old Herbert Harris lives in Woodbridge, Maryland. 

On the evening of August 17, Harris went to a Papa John’s restaurant near his home to pick up a pizza order.

A woman who is being charged for allegations that she was partaking in a sexually intimate relationship with a teenage boy for whom she provided foster care has been accused of making contact with him when she was ordered by a judge against doing so.

43-year-old Christina Davis Jolly, previously a middle school teacher and foster mother, was reported to the authorities with regards to the safety of the 15-year-old boy in her care.

An investigation resulted in Jolly’s arrest in August, based on allegations that she had been sexually abusing the boy for a period of 11 months.

A McDonald’s customer in Golden Gate, Florida claimed she was the victim of a physical attack after leaving the restaurant following a complaint about the freshness of her order.

Edislennis Santana, a former McDonald’s employee, picked up an order from the drive-thru. She felt that the bacon was not as fresh as she was accustomed to, and she entered the store and complained to a worker about her issue. The restaurant staff informed Santana that the bacon was fresh, but they eventually decided to replace it with a new order.

24-year-old Widna St. Jean, a friend of the employee receiving the complaint, was present for the altercation and claimed that she did not care for the way Santana conducted herself toward her friend. She was said to have stepped outside of the establishment when Santana was returning to her car to leave, and she noticed they were parked adjacently.

On November 3, a man who owns a restaurant in Memphis was implicated as the assailant in an incident involving the choking of a customer who complained about the temperature of the fries in her take-out order.

Rinesha Moore, a frequent customer of Crumpy’s Hot Wings in Memphis, Tennessee, called the restaurant and placed an order for pick up. She reported that she was told her order would be ready in 25-35 minutes.

Moore arrived approximately 45 minutes after placing her order, and upon inspecting her food she noticed that the fries were hot, but they were not steaming hot as they usually were. She’s asked the owner, Donald Crump, if he would replace them with a fresh order.

On Thursday, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call from an undisclosed party reporting the need for a welfare check at Camp Pendleton. When they arrived they discovered the body of a 23-year-old mother of three in her Laguna Hills apartment who had been shot multiple times. The victim’s name remains confidential at this time as authorities had not yet notified her family.

Jerel Boykins, a 26-year-old U.S. Marine and the estranged husband of the victim was held as a suspect by authorities soon after his wife’s body was found. He was arrested as the alleged perpetrator the day after the shooting occurred.

Court records indicate the victim had filed for a restraining order early in September, and she submitted a detailed letter describing several occurrences where Boykins allegedly used physical violence or threats against her and other family members.
