An employee at a correctional facility in Louisiana was arrested and fired after it was discovered that he was allegedly bringing narcotics into the jail and selling them to inmates. 

According to reports, the police suspected that someone was bringing drugs into the St. Tammany County Parish Correctional Center and selling the narcotics to some of the inmates. 

The authorities began to investigate the situation, and they suspected that one of the officers employed at the facility was bringing the drugs in.

A Florida woman was placed under arrest and jailed after she reportedly walked up to police officers and handed over a couple of bags of methamphetamine before telling them that she wanted to be incarcerated. 

On the evening of August 30, officers with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office were conducting an investigation in the vicinity of the Red Tiki Bar and Grill in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

Just after 9:30 PM, a woman reportedly randomly walked up to a corporal who was working on investigating the scene of an unrelated situation.

A man accused of carrying a gun around in an apartment complex was taken into custody after the police chased him and allegedly found him in possession of drugs and the firearm. 

Late in the morning on August 26, someone called the authorities and told them that a man holding a firearm was walking around their apartment complex. 

Officers with the Portage Police Department went to the reported address to investigate.

When the authorities walked up to a man who was using a pipe and determined that he was smoking meth, the suspect reportedly informed them that methamphetamine is now legal in the Sunshine state. 

According to his arrest record, 31-year-old Enzo Zabala-Cardozo is from St. Petersburg, Florida, and he is currently without permanent housing. 

Early in the morning on August 4, Zabala-Cardoza was reportedly standing in an alley when officers with the St. Petersburg Police Department noticed him. They thought they saw a glass pipe and a lighter in his hands. As they got closer, the police alleged that he was holding the pipe to his lips and trying to light it with the lighter.

According to a press release from the Troupe County Sheriff’s Office, a detention officer has been accused of bringing contraband into the county jail and selling narcotics to several inmates. 

The Sheriff’s Office sergeant disclosed in a news release that 23-year-old Steven Michael Crowder began his position as a Troup County Sheriff’s Office detention officer at the Troupe County Jail in Georgia at the start of 2022. 

It was reported that last month, the authorities learned of allegations that Crowder was smuggling narcotics into the institution for the purpose of selling them to some of the inmates.

A Florida Man is facing several charges after being accused of stealing and selling a minimum of 125 cemetery vases so he could spend the money on fentanyl. 

31-year-old Douglas Deck Jr. lives in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

On July 21, a scrap metal yard in St. Petersburg notified the authorities about someone they identified as Deck Jr. that had visited their establishment on July 12, 13, 14, and 19 with bronze vases for sale. The vases are used for holding flowers and offerings at gravesites, but the man was reportedly selling them as scrap metal.

Congressman Steve Womack’s son, who has a history of drug-related legal offenses, was arrested when he was allegedly caught with methamphetamine. 

34-year-old James Womack is the son of U.S. Representative Steve Womack, R-Arkansas. 

Womack had several prior legal issues over the span of approximately two decades, and many of them have been drug-related. He was convicted of drug charges in 2010 and 2019.

A man wearing a Comcast employee uniform was arrested after he was accused of trying to break into a home in Northern California. 

Early in the afternoon on July 4, the resident of a home in the Bret Harte neighborhood of San Rafael reportedly noticed a suspicious person at their front door when they looked at the app for their Ring doorbell camera. 

The resident was not at home at the time. When they notified the authorities, it was reported that they said the person on their property was wearing a Comcast Cable Company uniform. They added that they believed the man was trying to get inside the house.

A Kensington man who used to work as an EMT is facing over two dozen charges after he was accused of drugging and sexually abusing children, in addition to possessing an enormous amount of child pornography. 

54-year-old Todd Burnim lives in Kensington, New Hampshire. He was formerly employed at the Kensington and East Kingston Fire Departments as an emergency medical technician. It was reported that he was most recently working at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital, and with the company “Action EMS.” 

According to the authorities, they believed that Burnim was involved in sexual crimes involving three alleged victims between the ages of 8 and 12.

When a man was pulled over for reportedly failing to comply with Florida’s “Move Over” traffic law, he was allegedly found in possession of a huge stash of narcotics. 

Anthony Diaz is from Katy, Texas. 

On May 18, Diaz was driving on Interstate 95 in Brevard County, Florida. He passed a deputy’s vehicle that was parked on the side of the road while the law enforcement agent was dealing with another driver.
