A Florida woman is incarcerated for allegedly kidnapping a toddler from a family’s fenced backyard without parental permission.

On the afternoon of November 25, a 39-year-old woman from Hallandale Beach was strolling down a local street when she walked past a residence with a fenced-in backyard. A 3-year-old was playing alone in the private yard, and they caught her attention. Though she reportedly did not know the family, she allegedly lifted the youngster over the enclosure.

According to reports, some of the neighbors saw the woman as she was walking away from the residence with the toddler in her arms, and one of them was able to take a picture. The child’s mother was quickly alerted by the bystanders. When she went outside, she reportedly saw the woman still holding her youngster and he quickly ran to her as soon as he was put down. She immediately notified the authorities about the incident.

A Louisiana man is facing multiple charges after an 11-year-old brought gummy candy laced with THC to school and gave them to several classmates.

On December 5, an 11-year-old from LaPlace who is enrolled at East John Preparatory Academy left home with a bag of gummy candies that contained THC. He brought them to the school and reportedly shared them with four classmates: two 10-year-olds, an 11-year-old, and a 12-year-old. According to reports, the children ate the candy, and at least one of them became ill enough that they had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

The authorities were notified, and the St. John the Baptist Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation to look into the situation. They found out where the child lived and petitioned the court for a search warrant. When it was authorized, they went to the address, and a man identified as the youngster’s guardian was home. The man allowed the deputies to come into the house without incident. It was reported that when they searched the house, they reportedly discovered several types of illegal narcotics including more than 1,300 grams of THC edibles, multiple tablets believed to be methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.

A Utah man was arrested after he allegedly doused one of his roommates with gasoline and set her on fire before choking her.

Early in the morning on December 6, a woman was in her shared home in Ogden with one of her friends. Her 57-year-old male housemate was also home, and he and the woman had reportedly been at odds for days because she believed he had sex with another roommate. When the woman, whose friend offered to give her a ride somewhere, learned that the man was also going to get a ride, she became upset.

The man allegedly walked into the room with gasoline, poured it on her, and lit her on fire. While she was burning, he reportedly shoved her onto the ground and choked her before leaving the residence. 911 received a call about the incident, and the alleged victim, who was screaming, gave the authorities the man’s name. Officers from the Ogden Police Department went to the location, and when they arrived, they reported that the woman was standing in the street with visible burns on her face and parts of her body.

An employee at a bank in St. Claire was hanging Christmas lights on the building when a customer reportedly became upset that she could not use the drive-thru and allegedly struck the man with her vehicle.

On the morning of December 2, a woman driving a Kia pulled into the parking lot of a Sullivan Bank intending to conduct her business using the drive-thru. At the same time, some of the employees were hanging Christmas lights around the lanes. The driver attempted to enter, and she reportedly got upset when she was informed by one of the workers that the window was temporarily closed until they finished the project.

It was reported that the woman was frustrated and allegedly took it out on the employee by yelling at him. He turned around and started to walk away from her, and the woman reportedly stepped on the gas and hit him, causing his body to fall on the hood of her car. She allegedly began driving faster resulting in the man falling off the vehicle before she left the lot.

A Southern California man was arrested after he was accused of driving under the influence after allegedly causing a crash involving multiple vehicles and reportedly trying to bite responding officers.

Late in the afternoon on March 1, a 49-year-old man was driving a blue Prius in Los Angeles when he allegedly ran a red light and caused an accident involving three vehicles. Someone who saw the crash notified the authorities, and officers from the Los Angeles Police Department went to the location. When they arrived, the driver of the Prius was standing on the sidewalk with blood coming from his head and dripping down his face.

The man was informed that the police believed he had been driving under the influence, and they decided to double handcuff him after verbally noting that he was large. When they tried to put him in the police car, he reportedly fell on the ground and told the officers he was in pain. They continued trying to get him into the vehicle, but he allegedly tried to fight them off. Shortly after, a Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Ambulance brought him to the hospital.

An intoxicated mother in Oklahoma was arrested after allegedly attempting to leave her youngsters at a gas station so she could go to someone’s home to have a sexual encounter.

According to reports, on the evening of June 13, the mother of a 6-year-old, 4-month-old, and 11-month-old put her kids in the car while reportedly trying to connect with their father to exchange custody of them. Her 6-year-old unexpectedly jumped out of the vehicle, and she had to call the police for assistance locating them. Multiple officers responded and looked for the youngster. They were initially unsuccessful, but after a more extensive search, they found the child at a relative’s home.

With her two younger children and an adult passenger, the woman drove to a nearby 7-Eleven gas station. Someone at the store reportedly saw her pull in, and they believed she had been drinking alcohol. They reportedly watched as the woman allegedly grabbed one of the babies by the arm and dropped them on the ground. The adult passenger reportedly put the child back into the automobile while the woman was allegedly trying to remove the other. Ultimately, she drove away with both youngsters.

A Florida man is facing multiple charges for allegedly fleeing after causing a car crash and then smashing into a police vehicle in an alleged attempt to get away.

Early in the morning on December 3, a man was driving in Tallahassee. When he was close to an intersection he allegedly crashed into another automobile. Two people in the damaged car were injured, and the man reportedly took off immediately after the accident. When the authorities learned about the situation, officers from the Tallahassee Police Department went to the scene. They set out to find the suspect and they saw him driving close to the accident site. When they attempted to pull him over, the man reportedly crashed into a curb before trying to drive away.

Police cars were parked around the suspect’s car to prevent him from leaving, but he reportedly stepped on the gas and hit an officer’s vehicle. When they interacted with him, the police reported that they believed he was driving under the influence.

A Missouri man could be facing up to 30 years in prison after allegedly severely injuring his wife’s preteen daughter by striking her in the head multiple times.

According to reports, early in the evening on November 22, the man was angry with the 12-year-old when he told her to clean her room, and she refused. Her mother tried to get her to straighten the mess, but she still would not budge. When the woman went downstairs and entered the kitchen, her husband told her if she couldn’t deal with the situation he would.

Her husband went back to her daughter’s room, and the woman went up shortly after. She allegedly saw the man hit her daughter in the side of the head three times, and the girl appeared to be seriously injured. The woman ordered her husband to keep his hands to himself, and he left the home. The girl reportedly began screaming, and her breath was labored. Her mother called 911, and a deputy from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was sent to investigate the situation.

Chelsea Belle O’Donnell, daughter of Rosie O’Donnell, was arrested on drug-related charges for a third time since October after police allegedly found narcotics and paraphernalia in her vehicle during a traffic stop.

Since the beginning of the fall, Chelsea O’Donnell has been involved in several run-ins with the law resulting in arrests and charges. On September 10, O’Donnell was arrested on suspicion of felony maintaining a drug trafficking place, felony child neglect, felony possession of methamphetamine, and felony possession of THC. Her second arrest on October 11 brought about additional charges for felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of narcotic drugs, and felony bail jumping, in addition to misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Most recently, on November 18, the 27-year-old was driving in Niagara, Wisconsin, when an officer believed her exhaust was too loud and performed a traffic stop. The woman pulled over, and it was learned that she had been out on bond for five days. Her vehicle was searched, and the police allegedly found a pipe believed to be used for smoking meth, and Naloxone. Additional drugs, including lamotrigine, alprazolam, hydrocodone pills, and methamphetamine were reportedly located on her when she was searched at the jail.

A grandmother in Tennessee is facing several charges after an incident on Thanksgiving allegedly led her to stab two of her family members.

Holiday celebrations with family are often cited as stressful, and this year, family members in a household in South Memphis reportedly experienced a potentially dangerous situation involving a mother, her daughter, and her grandson. According to her daughter, the 55-year-old mother and grandmother was rather intoxicated after she had been drinking throughout the day. The woman allegedly shoved her grandson, and her daughter confronted her about it, which incited an argument between them about various subjects.

The verbal disagreement continued, and things intensified after the daughter turned her back. Her mother allegedly went into the kitchen and retrieved a knife. She reportedly ran up to her daughter and plunged the blade into her left hand. She also allegedly stabbed her grandson in his left hand. The authorities were notified, but the woman left before the police got to the home.
