A Florida woman was accused of attacking a man with a pickleball paddle following a dispute at a public pickleball court.

Investigators said the incident happened on May 31 at a park in Florida where several players had been participating in a doubles match. Authorities reported that a disagreement began during the game over retrieving a ball. The dispute did not end when the match was over and allegedly continued between one player and the suspect’s son.

According to investigators, at one point, the man approached her son to discuss criticism of his playing style. During that exchange, the woman allegedly became involved in the argument, and authorities said she struck the alleged victim several times in the head with a pickleball paddle.

 A Florida man was arrested after allegedly pulling a 3-foot-long dragon-handled sword on deputies when they approached him for a vehicle violation. 

On the morning of September 3, a Nissan Altima was reportedly parked on the side of the road. The vehicle was allegedly obstructing a section of the bike lane. 

Deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office saw the car and walked over to inspect the situation.

A homeless man accused of stealing a car was reportedly located while sitting on the toilet in a bathroom in a Florida park with the lights turned out.

On April 20, the Titusville Police Department received notification from someone reporting that their vehicle had been stolen.

Just before 9:30 pm, a deputy patrolling Dale Wimbrow Park in Sebastian noticed a car that they believed was parked in an odd location.
