When a man allegedly tried to carjack the vehicle of an elderly gentleman he found himself unable to complete the deed when he learned that the car was operated by stick shift.

Last Tuesday morning in Orlando, a man was behind his vehicle and in the process of storing his walker in the trunk.

Before he was able to finish, the man, who is reportedly over 65-years-old, was caught unaware when he was approached by someone who allegedly used force while slamming the trunk of his car down on him.

When a woman and her boyfriend got into an argument on vacation she allegedly got back at him by making an unauthorized transaction on his credit card in the amount of $5000 to tip a café server.

24-year-old Serina Wolfe and her boyfriend Michael Crane decided to plan a getaway together to Clearwater, Florida, at the end of June.

On June 27, while the couple was in the midst of their vacation, the two reportedly began to argue. Wolfe, who is from Buffalo, NY, discussed the idea that she wanted Crane to buy her a ticket so that she could return home before their initially planned departure.

A Glendale man who was previously convicted for messing with iconic Hollywood fixtures has been accused of theft after the Marilyn Monroe statue went missing from its Hollywood Gateway home.

Around 11:00 pm on June 16, a surveillance camera positioned at the Gateway facing “The Four Ladies of Hollywood” gazebo recorded what appeared to be a male descending from the top of the structure where the Marilyn statue been affixed. It was purported that the suspect used a tool to saw the statue from its base before walking to the nearby Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. A group consisting of the suspect, two men, and a woman had gathered by the time they reached the destination.

The Los Angeles Police Department opened an investigation and the same detective who worked on a case involving the destruction of Donald Trump’s Walk of Fame star began to research the details of the incident involving the disappearance of the artistic depiction of Marilyn Monroe.

A man accused of breaking into homes was allegedly found carting a 4-year-old girl along with him during his purported heists.

Around 8:00 am last Thursday, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Department was alerted by a concerned person who saw an adult and a small child that they didn’t recognize walking around their neighbor’s backyard while carrying bags.

When the deputies dispatched to the Edgewater location reported, they spoke with the homeowner, who said that they found some wires on their boat that looked as if someone had tried to manipulate them in an effort to start the engine.

A man who used to work for Disney World in Orlando is facing felony charges for allegations that he stole and then sold thousands of dollars in costumes and props from the park during the time that he worked there.

Last August, an animatronic from the Epcot area of Disney World valued at $7,000 went missing and an investigation into the theft was opened.

In November, 24-year-old Patrick Allen Spikes, a park employee at the time, was one of the suspects questioned about the incident. When speaking with the authorities Spikes said he did not steal anything from the theme park. He was still taken into custody for resisting arrest based on allegations that he had been uncooperative and argumentative when speaking with law enforcement, but the charges were dropped shortly afterward.

Two Los Angeles County residents have been charged for their alleged involvement in an immigration scheme allowing them to illegally obtain $1.5 million from Chinese nationals with the false promise of visas.

34-year-old West Covina resident Nianfei Bu, and 37-year-old Hourong Zhang, from Rowland Heights, were taken into custody on Thursday after purportedly pilfering cash from Chinese nationals in 2015 and 2016.

Bu and Zhang allegedly told seven people that if they invested money in one of several five restaurants of which Bu is the proprietor they would be given visas. The money was allegedly taken from the unknowing investors by Bu and Zhang, but the visas were never produced.

A Florida man who just bought an island for $8 million was charged for allegedly stealing $300 from a local Kmart by returning recent purchases without the original items in the packing.

59-year-old Andrew Lippi is the proprietor of the resort that was used as the dwelling for the cast of The Real World season 17.

Two weeks ago, Lippi additionally became the new owner of Thompson Island, a five-acre private isle off the coast of the Florida Keys. Lippi reportedly bought the island as a home for his sizeable family to reside. The closing deal for his purchase of the island was reported as taking place on March 28.

An ex-actor who co-starred in a Jack Black movie when he was a teenager was recently accused of four incidents where musical instruments were taken from stores and pawned for cash.

At the end of January, a North Florida music store called in to report the theft of an $800 Les Paul electric guitar and issued a description of the suspect and the serial number of the instrument to the authorities.

In February, the police department was furnished information from the County Sheriff’s Office informing them that about 90 minutes after the alleged theft a pawn shop had purchased a guitar with the same serial number as the Les Paul that was reported stolen.

A man who allegedly stole two dogs from their owner’s property reportedly said that he took the animals because they provided him with therapeutic benefits.

A 73-year-old dog owner and resident of Pasco County recently found that his two dogs were taken from their pen at his residence.

When the authorities looked into the alleged dog theft their investigation led them to suspect that 28-year-old Joseph Capparelli who lives in the same area as the man with the missing canines was responsible for the act.

A woman accused of stealing a man’s high-end watches reportedly tried to conceal them inside of her body before she was apprehended by the authorities.

A pair who met and spent time together inside of a nightclub in Miami Beach allegedly decided to leave the establishment and have a nightcap in the man’s nearby hotel room.

It was reported that the two had drinks together in the man’s room at the Clarion Suites into early morning hours. When the man excused himself to use the restroom, he returned to find that a Crown Royal bag he had that contained five watches worth just over $100,000 was not where he had left it.
