A Minnesota deputy who provided security services at a high school has been accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old student while he was on duty and wearing his uniform.

Shevlin resident Neil H. Dolan has been tenured with the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office for nearly 10-years. The 31-year-old deputy also serves as a school resource officer and an assistant football coach at Bagley High School in Bagley, Minnesota.

It was reported by a parent of the girl involved in the allegations that Bagley had a friendly rapport with the students where he appeared to relate with them, often giving them high-fives when they passed each other on campus. It was additionally reported that several of the families with kids enrolled at the school included Bagley in their celebrations at their homes.

A high school band director has been accused of possessing videos and other materials allegedly showing evidence that he was sexually interacting with a former student.

47-year-old Christopher Michael Blackmer has worked with the students at Winter Park High School as the director of the band for the past 6 years.

At the end of January, the authorities were allegedly presented information from an unnamed source claiming that Blackmer was in possession of images and video of an underage boy. The report also alleged that Blackmer recently shared the pictures with a current student attending Winter Park High.

A New York woman is facing criminal charges for allegations that she enrolled in and attended a high school, gaining access by telling the administration she was a homeless teenager.

In mid-December, an enrollee showed up at the Cairo-Durham School District office and disclosed that she was a homeless 15-year-old who was not currently attending school. She allegedly stated that her name was Riley Madison.

The student was immediately assigned a school and transportation services within the district based on the McKinney-Vento Act. This federally recognized assistance act ensures that children without stable living conditions are granted access to public education even if they don’t have the typical documentation required for registration.

A teacher at a Texas high school has been charged after he opened a file containing pornography that was displayed in front of the class during a lesson.

At the end of September, high school science teacher James Edward Alleman III was using a projector as a part of his instruction to his class and when he began the lesson it was reported that sexual content popped up on the screen.

The faux pas was reported to the school staff by one of the classmates in attendance, who additionally said that Alleman verbalized to those who viewed it that the incident shouldn’t have happened.

A substitute teacher who was working in a high school classroom in Connecticut is facing charges for allegations that he encouraged students in the school to participate in “fight club” type activities.

Ryan Avery Fish, a 23-year-old substitute teacher, was working an assignment in a high school math class at Montville High School from August until October of 2017. During his time as their teacher Fish has been accused of allowing the teenagers at the school to form a fight club inside of his classroom. In a statement to the authorities, he said that he permitted the activity in order to “let them be teenagers and let them get their energy out.”

On December 14 one of the 15-year-old students in Fish’s class reported that he was experiencing emotional distress after unwillingly taking part in a fight where he was beaten up and had his belongings stolen by his fellow schoolmates. The DCF Juvenile Court Liaison in Waterford was notified and reported that the alleged victim would be receiving a mental health evaluation from a local hospital in order to assess his condition.

A teacher’s aide was approached by a high school student who shared that she was the victim of an alleged rape, and he is facing charges for failing to report the information to the proper authorities.

A girl attending Ridgewood High School in Pasco County, Florida, purportedly suffered a sexual assault and confided in one of the teacher’s aides about the attack.

She later shared the details of the happening with a school resource deputy, and a formal investigation of her claim was opened.

A 42-year-old man has been arrested after being identified as the possible perpetrator of stealing personal property from inside of classrooms at three different Orange County schools.

On January 11, a teacher at Irvine Baptist Church noticed that her wallet was missing from her purse, which she had left inside of an unoccupied classroom. She reported that her wallet contained money, her driver’s license, and a bank card.

The culprit’s image was seen when a review of the church surveillance video showed a man entering the classroom and shuffling through the woman’s bag before taking her wallet and exiting the room. The offender’s car, a white Chevy Malibu, was also seen in video footage from a parking lot camera.

On Christmas day, a high school soccer coach was placed under arrest for suspicion of human trafficking two teenage girls when he was found in the company of the young women after one of them called the authorities for help.

At nearly 3am on Monday, 911 received a call from a 17-year-old girl who reported that she was hiding from a man in a nearby vehicle who was waiting for her. She claimed that the man, identified as 34-year-old Elan Seagraves, had sexually assaulted her and forced her into prostitution.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department dispatched deputies to the scene where they located the girl in the yard, and they found Seagraves parked in a car nearby. They discovered a second teenage girl, also 17, sitting in the vehicle with Seagraves. Authorities posit they are both victims of human trafficking.

A high school teacher in Indiana has been accused of using drugs on school grounds inside of her classroom after students witnessed her snorting powder and one of them video recorded her on a cell phone.

Samantha Cox, an English teacher at Lake Central High School, had been inside of her empty classroom on Wednesday when she allegedly went into a corner where she believed she would not be seen in order to snort an illicit substance.

Students began to arrive outside of the classroom and they spotted Cox trying to be inconspicuous in the far corner. When they became aware of what she was doing one of them pulled out a cell phone and began documenting her drug use. The video was then uploaded to social media, but it has yet to be officially authenticated.

A married couple who own a travel business were charged with embezzlement after they allegedly accepted payment for booking international trips to Japan for San Diego high school band members and their parents, and then cancelled the trips. The company then filed for bankruptcy and the people were not offered refunds for the thousands of dollars they had spent.

Brad and Margie Matheson are the proprietors of a Georgia based travel service called Harmony International. In January 2016, they extended a package to four San Diego area high school’s band departments. The offer was for the school’s band members to take an international trip where parents could accompany their children to Japan.

Brad Matheson presented the offer in a Skype meeting telling parents and students, “If you register before March 1, 2016, for this group, you’ll receive free trip cancellation insurance.” He stated this offer was intended as an added incentive bonus in order to encourage early registration.
