Beer Thieves Hit Multiple Broward County 7-Eleven Stores

The authorities are investigating a slew of robberies where different sets of suspects reportedly stole cases of high-end beer from several 7-Eleven locations in Broward County.

Starting on November 16, 7-Eleven stores in Broward County, Florida reported that they had been targeted many times by people taking cases of the more expensive brands of beer from their stock and walking out of the store without paying.

On the 16^th, a 7-Eleven in Ft. Lauderdale allegedly experienced the first of two lager thefts. The second reportedly occurred on November 19.

Film Investors Reeled in For $14M on Fake Netflix Production

A man who claimed he was making a Netflix movie in Hollywood has been accused of bilking $14 million out of the people he allegedly convinced to foot the bill for the false film.

Manhattan Beach, California, resident Adam Joiner ran a company called Dark Planet Pictures, LLC.

A few years ago, Joiner reportedly decided he wanted to work on a movie project for a 19^th Century period piece casting famous Hollywood actors in the roles and gave it the preliminary title of “Legends.”

Suspect Stole Marilyn Monroe Sculpture at Hollywood Gateway

A Glendale man who was previously convicted for messing with iconic Hollywood fixtures has been accused of theft after the Marilyn Monroe statue went missing from its Hollywood Gateway home.

Around 11:00 pm on June 16, a surveillance camera positioned at the Gateway facing “The Four Ladies of Hollywood” gazebo recorded what appeared to be a male descending from the top of the structure where the Marilyn statue been affixed. It was purported that the suspect used a tool to saw the statue from its base before walking to the nearby Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. A group consisting of the suspect, two men, and a woman had gathered by the time they reached the destination.

The Los Angeles Police Department opened an investigation and the same detective who worked on a case involving the destruction of Donald Trump’s Walk of Fame star began to research the details of the incident involving the disappearance of the artistic depiction of Marilyn Monroe.
