A factory worker in Kentucky was hospitalized after her coworker allegedly locked her in a room with scalding steam and harsh chemicals.

On March 5, a woman who works at the Land-O-Frost factory in Madisonville was with a male employee inside the room where the racks are machine washed and sanitized. When her 23-year-old coworker walked out, the woman found the door, which only opens from the outside, was locked. There was a second door, but pallets were in front of it blocking its access. She could not get out before the rack washing machine was turned on, and 200-degree steam, and chemicals, filled the space and scalded her. She soon passed out, but she hit the emergency shut-off switch before she fell on the ground. The woman, who had injuries on her face, in addition to her head, was taken to a local hospital. It was reported that she was still being treated for a concussion the day after the incident occurred.

The authorities were notified, and officers from the Madisonville Police Department met with the alleged victim to talk to her about the event. According to reports, she told them while she and the man were together in the rack washing room, he said they could trap each other inside. She told the police she heard him lock her in when he left, and she believed he purposely turned on the machine.

The parents of a 15-year-old girl are facing many charges after allegedly locking her in a chicken coop for months and feeding her only packages of ramen.

It was reported that last September, Child Protective Services was contacted by a 15-year-old girl who told them that her parents had been locking her in a chicken coop for several months. They notified the Farmington Police Department to report the situation, which reportedly involved a couple who was believed to be abusing their teenage daughter, and an investigation was opened. The police learned that the parents of the 15-year-old had more than one child in their Farmington home. The couple allegedly treated the other children well, but they were reportedly subjecting the young woman to horrible abuse.

According to reports, the teen was locked inside a chicken coop for long periods, even during times of inclement weather, in which she was forced to stay on her feet. She was reportedly fed nothing but packages of ramen, though the rest of the family ate normal meals. Additionally, her parents allegedly only let her use the bathroom twice a day. The alleged abuse reportedly continued for months before CPS was alerted. Approximately five months after the investigation began, detectives believed they had enough evidence to prove the claims of abuse were true.

A former teacher from West Richland is facing accusations of unlawfully imprisoning a student in her classroom for an hour and a half in the middle of a school day.

According to reports, the incident reportedly took place after the teacher reportedly became upset with the student after he showed excitement with a gesture when she mentioned possibly missing a future class due to illness. Although the student apologized, the teacher emailed his mother and told her the apology was inadequate. She suggested the student should do more to show that he appreciated her, such as writing a letter of apology.

The following day, the student reportedly approached the teacher after class so he could apologize again. Things escalated when the teacher allegedly locked the classroom door and insisted on praying with the student. The student said he did not practice religion, and the teacher reportedly called him a derogatory term in Spanish and made him repeat a prayer in a language he didn’t understand. Throughout the incident, the student asked multiple times if he could leave the room or call his mom, but the teacher refused. The teacher allegedly kept the student in the classroom for an entire class period and caused him to miss lunch.

A hairdresser in Tennessee was arrested after allegedly forcing a customer to stay in the shop by holding scissors to her face and demanding that she pay an extra $50 for the services she was given.

When a woman scheduled an appointment for September 13 at the Luv My Hair Salon in Memphis, she was required to submit a $50 deposit, and then use the Zelle app to pay the hairdresser another $410 for the services she received. She agreed to the terms and submitted the down payment.

She went to the salon as scheduled, and the woman sat down with the hairdresser. When working on her hair, the stylist informed the customer that she would have to pay an extra $50. The mention of the additional cost caused a dispute between the women, and things escalated quickly.

A mother from Texas is facing serious charges after she reportedly locked her 12-year-old daughter out of their apartment, forcing her to spend the night outside sleeping on a bench, and then allegedly told the authorities that the girl ran away.

On August 31, the mother and daughter reportedly had a disagreement. According to reports, the argument started when the daughter wanted to invite a friend over to the residence to hang out. Things escalated, and her mother allegedly kicked her out of the apartment. The girl tried several times to get back in but was repeatedly denied entry, and she spent the night sleeping outdoors on a bench in the apartment complex.

The next morning, around 7 a.m., the girl walked over to a nearby Houston Police Department location to report what had happened the prior evening. After hearing her story, they began investigating the case.

The parents of three children in Georgia are facing multiple felony charges after the authorities accused them of forcing the youngsters to live in a filthy home without regular access to food.

According to reports, the children’s grandmother lives next door to the family, who reside in Carroll County. Their grandmother regularly takes care of them at her house when their parents are not home. Recently, the grandma felt overwhelmed when she tried to get her 10-year-old grandson to stop riding his bike on the highway. The woman decided to notify the authorities to see if the police could help her with the situation.

Carroll County sheriff’s deputies headed to the address to see what was happening. They reported that they found the youngsters at their residence, but their parents were not home. Their grandmother explained that she babysits the kids a lot. When the deputies went into the house, they reported that the trailer was very hot and smelled like animals were using it as a toilet. They found there was no food available, and there were locks on the refrigerator and freezer.

Early last week, the mother of a 10-year-old was arrested after allegedly abusing and injuring her child, in addition to trying to drown him in the bathtub.

According to reports, between April 15 and April 21, the woman took out her aggression on her son after reportedly becoming upset when he told her he would rather live with his father. In response, she allegedly grabbed a bottle of bleach and doused her son with the liquid.

The boy went to the bathroom and got in the tub to wash off, and his mother reportedly entered and held him under the water in an alleged attempt to drown him. It was reported that the youngster pretended to be dead so she would stop. When she realized he was faking, the woman allegedly locked her son in a closet.

A couple who are biological scientists at the University of Florida are facing felony charges after it was discovered that they allegedly kept their youngsters in cages.

The parents have a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old. Recently, the older child was at school when he reportedly became upset about going back home. He reportedly told his teacher that he gets locked in a cage, and his younger sibling gets trapped under an overturned crib.

Their father works at the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, and their mother works as a safety manager at the Plant Pathology Department. According to reports, the 6-year-old said his dad leaves him locked in the cage while his mother is at work.

A man in Idaho could face up to fifteen years in prison if he is convicted of charges stemming from allegations that he tried to strangulate a woman using a necklace and a sock.

Early in the morning on December 10, a 40-year-old man was with a woman at a home in Idaho Falls. According to reports, an incident involving violent domestic violence occurred.

It was reported that the man, whose relationship with the woman has not currently been disclosed, allegedly grabbed her by the hair and forced her down a staircase and into a bedroom where he reportedly locked the door so she could not leave. He allegedly began to choke the woman with his hands and then used items including a necklace and a sock during the alleged strangulation.

An Omaha, Nebraska, funeral home employee is facing charges for allegedly having intimate relations with a sex doll he found in a deceased person’s residence.

On October 6, a 41-year-old man who worked for Mid America First Call Inc., a business specializing in the removal and embalming of deceased humans, went with his coworker to retrieve the body of a person who died in an Omaha residence. While they were in the home, they reportedly found a life-size sex doll before they departed.

According to reports, the 41-year-old got in touch with the manager of the property and told them that the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office asked him to retrieve the doll for evidence. He allegedly claimed it was needed for “a biopsy.” The manager told the man that he would not be allowed to enter the residence.
