A man in Central Pennsylvania suffered injuries after his girlfriend allegedly sliced his throat and hands because he refused her demands to provide her with anti-anxiety medication.

Early in the morning on October 5, a man was asleep in the bed he shared with his girlfriend when she abruptly woke him up. When he opened his eyes, she was allegedly standing next to him with a knife in her hand and was holding it against his throat. According to reports, the man takes a prescription drug for anxiety, and he had shared them with her in the past. The woman reportedly demanded he give her more of his Klonopin, and allegedly threatened his life. Before he was able to get the knife away from her, she reportedly cut him by dragging the blade across his neck.

It was reported that after the man took the knife, his girlfriend got a different one and continued assaulting him. He calmed her down and called 911, and officers from the Altoona Police Department went to the residence. When they arrived, they reported that they found a knife that they believed was used during the incident. They also noted that there were drops of what they thought was fresh blood dotting the kitchen floor and the walls in one of the hallways.

The adoptive mother of a 22-year-old with special needs is facing multiple charges after she allegedly chained the woman to a bed frame by the neck and left her in her own excrement for almost a week.

Just after midnight on May 29, a woman returned home from the store and reportedly heard screaming coming from the second floor. When she went to inspect, the woman reportedly discovered her mentally disabled adopted older sister. She allegedly had a chain around her neck keeping her bound to the bed frame in the room. Her hips were held in place with a bicycle lock, and her sister found the key and freed her.

The authorities were notified, and it was reported that the mother returned to the residence until she learned the police were coming. Her younger daughter kept her away from the room. She did not want her mother to move anything around before the officers could inspect it. Before the police got there, the mother reportedly took the chain and lock and left the residence.

A Florida Man rang in the New Year with an arrest after allegedly battering a woman with a sex toy when she reportedly commented on his flaccid sexual prowess.

Early in the morning on January 1, a man from Seminole was spending time with a woman when things reportedly began going south. The pair reportedly got into a dispute when the woman said he needed to take medication for erectile dysfunction.

It was reported that the man did not appreciate the feedback. He allegedly went to the closet in the bedroom and returned with a dildo. He allegedly grabbed the back of the woman’s head while forcing the sex toy into her mouth. He also reportedly hit her in the eye with a closed fist.

A man and woman in California are facing charges after allegedly stealing items from a cosmetics store in Camarillo last weekend.

Just before 3:00 PM on July 22, a man and woman from Bakersfield reportedly visited a cosmetics store in Camarillo. When they left the establishment, it was believed that they had stolen products from the store.

The authorities were notified, and officers from the Camarillo Police Department went to the location to investigate. When they arrived, they reported that they were able to obtain quite a bit of information about the suspects from a bystander.

A Wyoming woman who reportedly claimed she was abducted by aliens is scheduled to have a jury trial after she was arrested for a third time for allegedly drinking and driving.

Late in the evening on May 20, a deputy from the Park County Sheriff’s Office was on duty in Cody when they saw a vehicle allegedly driving too close to the car in front of them. He decided to perform a traffic stop.

According to reports, the driver did not immediately pull their car over and continued driving for a few blocks before responding to the police vehicle’s flashing lights.

A fake pill bottle with a GPS tracker helped the police find and arrest a Michigan man who allegedly robbed thousands of dollars worth of prescription drugs from several CVS pharmacies over two months. 

Beginning on May 24, CVS pharmacies in four separate locations in midwestern Michigan were robbed of several prescription medications by an unknown suspect. 

One of the stores in Van Buren Township was visited by the suspect twice. The first time was on May 24, and then again on June 8. The alleged robber went to the pharmacy in Saline on June 2, the Ann Arbor location on June 14, and the store in Milan on July 7.

A woman in Florida was accused of driving under the influence of alcohol after a deputy asserted that she smelled like spirits and was driving erratically. 

48-year-old Rachel Kay Paquette is originally from Michigan, but she currently lives in The Villages in Sumter County, Florida. 

On the afternoon of May 22, an on-duty law enforcement officer reportedly saw Paquette operating her vehicle in what they considered an unsafe manner.

A Washington County resident has been accused of keeping her care-dependent sister trapped inside of a wooden cage in an unclean home and denying the woman access to food and medications.

53-year-old Loretta Lancaster lives with her sister, 51-year-old Leona Biser, who provides care for the woman. Lancaster has reportedly suffered from meningitis since she was young, and the woman requires a caregiver to assist with her daily needs.

On November 22, a special agent with Adult Protective Services placed a call asking for law enforcement to come to Lancaster’s home when they allegedly discovered that Lancaster lives inside of a locked handmade wooden cage.

A married couple and their three adult children have been accused of inflicting several types of abuse upon one of their legally disabled relatives, a woman with autism and other diagnoses, who has lived with them for the past three years.

When the mother of a 22-year-old autistic woman passed away in August 2015, she moved into a trailer on the property of her family members who have a home that they share with their children. The woman reportedly slept on a bed inside of the trailer parked on the property.

On August 13, 2015, one day after the woman’s mother died, 45-year-old Terry Knope, the husband of her blood relation, 42-year-old Raylaine Knope, took over as the executor of the SSI benefits received due to her disability. He was awarded the responsibility in order to make sure that the near $9,000 a year was used to ensure that the woman’s housing and other basic needs were met.

Wildwood, Florida, resident Carolyn Roach Doggett, a woman who works as a first-grade elementary school teacher, was accused of driving under the influence of alcohol on Monday while she was in the vicinity of a local charter school.

On the afternoon of July 2, after the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office was notified with information about a possible reckless driver they dispatched to the reported area that the vehicle was seen, which was within half a mile of The Villages Charter School.

Officers encountered the sports utility vehicle that they suspected was the motorist they received the call about and they reported that the turn signal remained in the on position the entire time they were in pursuit and that the SUV was allegedly weaving erratically enough that several accidents were narrowly avoided.
