GoldRush Rally co-founder Benjamin Chen totaled his limited edition Gemballa Mirage GT by smashing into at least four other vehicles while allegedly driving under the influence.

Around 7:30 am on Tuesday, Benjamin Chen was reportedly driving his blue Gemballa Mirage GT in Hell’s Kitchen on the West side of Manhattan. When the rare vehicle, which was heavily inspired by the Porsche Carrera GT, was created only 25 were made by the manufacturer.

Chen, who is a reported collector of exotic vehicles, allegedly began hitting into parked vehicles on 47th Street and crashed into four other parked vehicles in the three blocks that he reportedly continued driving until he was stopped by police.

On Sunday evening, a Florida man was driving his Honda down US Highway 19 when police reportedly saw him racing down the road and operating his vehicle recklessly.

An officer with the Tarpon Springs Police Department initiated a traffic stop and approached the driver, identified as 52-year-old Jon Earl Pickard from Palm Beach.

The highway reportedly had a posted speed limit of 55 miles-per-hour, but the officer alleged that Pickard was going approximately 35-miles over the maximum.

A New Jersey man was allegedly driving an e-scooter and he is facing charges for allegations that he was navigating the electric vehicle while intoxicated.

In May, the city of Hoboken employed a 6-month program in order to see how beneficial it would be if electric scooters were readily available for people to rent as a mode of transportation. Their goal is to reduce traffic and give people an accessible and more environmentally friendly way to get around the city. The e-scooters have been issued an 18 MPH speed limit, and they are only permitted to be driven on the street and in bike lanes.

On Sunday afternoon, Hoboken officers reported that they spotted a man who was allegedly walking around in an off-balance manner, and they allegedly watched him proceed to unlock and climb on an e-scooter.

An off-duty Memphis sergeant was accused of driving under the influence after he allegedly crashed his vehicle into a structure outside of a liquor store.

62-year-old Sergeant Thomas Berryhill has worked with the Memphis Police Department for 26 years.

On Saturday afternoon, Berryhill was reportedly involved in a single-vehicle crash while he was off-duty involving his car and a column outside of a liquor store in East Memphis.

When a store employee tried to approach a woman they believed was stealing food from the market she allegedly attempted to run the man down with her vehicle.

On August 14, one of the clerks employed by Martin’s Food store in Eldersburg, Maryland, thought he recognized a woman who was thought to have stolen from the establishment on a previous occasion.

The employee trailed her around the grocery store until he watched the woman allegedly make her exit without paying for the items she had collected while shopping.

A man dressed as Batman’s notorious archnemesis allegedly led the authorities from Westminster to Venice Beach where he was detained and charged with a felony.

Around 3:00 pm on Saturday, a California Highway Patrol officer reportedly saw a sedan traveling down the 405 freeway that appeared as if it was being operated in a reckless manner.

In a pursuit that would continue for nearly an hour the CHP attempted to stop the car, but the suspect continued driving. After switching freeways and entering the adjoining Los Angeles County area the vehicle came to a halt in Venice Beach.

In an event that news outlets are reporting as a first in Arizona, a man was arrested for suspicion of DUI while riding an electric scooter.

At the end of October, a Tempe police officer was driving when he saw a man in black clothing in the center of the road with a scooter in tow. The man then reportedly rapidly left the area and rode his electric vehicle into a parking lot.

The officer trailed the man and alleged that when he was able to make contact with him he found him lying on his back on the ground, and the scooter was tipped over.
