A man who is on parole out of Wyoming was arrested in Utah on multiple theft charges when the police located the suspect after a local news station asked for the public’s help to find him.

On the evening of May 9, a man driving a Dodge Ram reportedly entered a residential driveway in Taylorsville and parked his truck. After getting out of the vehicle, he allegedly tried to open the door to the home and then kicked open a fence in the yard. According to reports, he swiped tools from the sheds and put them in the back of his truck before driving away. When the residents returned home, they saw the broken fence and damage to their door and notified the authorities.

The alleged victims supplied the police with a home surveillance video of the incident, and it helped them identify the person they believed was the culprit. The footage was also shown on the news when a local station covered the story and asked the public to call if they had any information. Multiple people reached out, and three days after the alleged robbery, the police saw the man driving what was believed to be the same truck seen in the surveillance video. When he noticed the police, the man allegedly tried to escape but was quickly apprehended.

The ex-girlfriend of a married Florida man reportedly pretended she was an ICE agent and allegedly kidnapped his wife from her place of employment.

On April 10, a woman was working a shift at the Days Inn in Panama City when someone wearing clothing giving the impression they were an ICE agent came to the hotel and asked for her. The employee noted that in addition to the outfit, the woman was carrying a walkie-talkie and a card that appeared to be from the sheriff’s office, causing her to further believe she was a legitimate law enforcement agent. When the employee was told she would need to accompany the woman to the sheriff’s office, she willingly got into the back seat of their vehicle.

According to reports, when they were in the car, the driver took the woman’s cellphone away and said she could make a call when they arrived. During the ride, the driver reportedly made comments about the passenger’s husband and told her she would be held responsible for his wrongs. The man’s wife, who knew where the sheriff’s office was, realized the driver had passed the location. The driver reportedly informed her that they were going to a different office, but instead allegedly drove the woman to an apartment complex and told her additional ICE agents were awaiting their arrival. When she was told to get out of the vehicle, the passenger was able to run away.

A Nebraska man wanted on warrants and theft-related crimes was caught by the police and arrested last weekend when he was caught after crashing into a tree while allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

According to reports, Russ’s Grocery Store in Lincoln was recently robbed twice by the same suspect, who was able to escape both times before law enforcement arrived. On the evening of April 2, an individual walked into the market and collected what was later estimated to be $50 worth of food items. One of the employees reported that they did not believe he paid for the merchandise, but it looked like he was heading out of the store. When she tried to interact with the man, he allegedly shoved her and continued out the door. The authorities were notified and began investigating the incident, but the suspect was not found.

On April 10, someone believed to be the suspect from the previous alleged theft returned to Russ’s and reportedly stole merchandise a second time. Shortly after the incident was reported, the police went to investigate an accident involving an allegedly drunk and reckless driver who crashed into a tree in a residential area. He was identified as the suspect they were seeking for the robberies.

A North Carolina man was arrested on nearly a dozen charges after he was accused of being the perpetrator of the armed robberies of two local convenience stores.

On September 5, the authorities were alerted when one of the Circle K convenience stores in Fayetteville reported that they experienced an armed robbery. The following day, another Circle K in Fayetteville reported that they, too, had been robbed by someone with a gun.

The Fayetteville Police Department opened an investigation and began trying to identify the suspect. Shortly after, someone who chose to remain anonymous told them they knew who was involved in the armed robberies. The man was tracked down and found at a private residence.

According to reports, two men flagged down a Lyft driver near a nightclub in Oklahoma City early Sunday morning. Instead of requesting a ride using the app, they offered to pay cash, which the driver agreed to if they were going somewhere close by. After getting into the car with a bag of beer, the back seat passenger reportedly handed a handgun to the front passenger, who allegedly pressed it to the driver’s head and threatened him.

The passengers allegedly demanded to be taken to Durant, which was about 150 miles away, and the driver refused. They reportedly made the man continue driving while allegedly threatening him and attempting to access his phone. Eventually, they decided to have him drop them off at another club in Oklahoma City, where they reportedly demanded the driver’s cellphone and $20 in cash before they got out of the car.

The driver reported that he was terrified by the alleged threats they made to harm his family if he reported them, but he called the police from a local 7-Eleven. The authorities quickly found the suspects nearby.

An Indiana man was jailed after allegedly trying to walk out of an adult novelty store with a large box containing a spinning dance pole that he reportedly did not pay for.

According to their website, Cirilla’s adult store has been in business since 1992, and their 60+ locations specialize in “spicing up sex lives since 1992 with an impressive collection of lingerie, vibrators, adult toys and romance essentials.”

On July 17, a store located in Muncie experienced an alleged theft attempt. A man reportedly entered the store during the evening shift and went to the section containing the portable dance and fitness poles. After choosing one of the models intended for spinning, he grabbed the box and reportedly headed for the exit.

An Indiana man was arrested and jailed on over a dozen charges after allegedly robbing a fast-food restaurant at gunpoint, stealing a vehicle from the parking lot, leading the police on a chase, and illegally firing a gun.

Early in the morning on June 30, employees at a Taco Bell located in Fishers experienced a scare when a car with three people in it rolled up to the drive-thru window. According to reports, when the trio interacted with the staff, they allegedly ordered them to hand over cash while holding handguns. Before leaving the premises with the money, one of the people in the vehicle reportedly made off with an employee’s Dodge Challenger parked in the lot.

The authorities were notified, and officers from the Fishers Police Department followed up on the report. They searched nearby for the allegedly stolen car, and when they located it, they pulled over the driver. The man stopped the vehicle but reportedly ran off.

A man in Nebraska is facing multiple charges after allegedly putting his hand inside a cinnamon roll box to hold up a convenience store.

Just after midnight on February 27, a man went into a Kwik Shop in Lincoln and walked up to one of the female employees. With his hand reportedly concealed inside a white box that used to contain cinnamon rolls, the man allegedly demanded the clerk give him cash.

It was reported that the woman thought the alleged robber might have been concealing a gun inside the box, and she gave him the cash he asked for.

A man out of jail on conditional release for charges related to an incident with his ex-girlfriend was arrested for many charges after allegedly breaking into her home and snatching her purse from her.

In 2021, after a particularly problematic breakup, a man in Gainesville, Florida, had an interaction with his ex that led to criminal charges for robbery by sudden snatching. The woman accused him of getting in her car without permission and stealing her car keys twice, in addition to grabbing her by the throat. When he went to court, it was determined that he needed outpatient mental health treatment so he would be seen as having the competency to go through the legal process. He was ordered to live with a family member by being monitored by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, and he was barred from having any contact with the alleged victim.

On the morning of February 23, the man allegedly went to his ex-girlfriend’s residence and walked in. The woman was home at the time, and he allegedly grabbed her purse, which she was holding at the time, and caused the strap to break. She told him to get out, and she notified the authorities.

An Arizona man is facing serious charges after he was released from prison and allegedly carjacked a man driving a truck carrying $1 M worth of Corvettes so he could use the vehicle to get home.

According to reports, on February 15, a 23-year-old man was released from prison and headed to the Willcox Loves Struck Stop in Willcox, Arizona. The newly freed individual saw a semi-truck carrying 10 new Chevrolet C8 Corvettes, and he approached the driver to make small talk about the luxury vehicles. Before long, the man allegedly yanked the driver out of the semi, hopped into the driver’s seat, and took off.

The authorities learned about the alleged theft, and shortly after, a deputy from the Cochise County Sheriff’s Department found the man driving the semi. The deputy noted that the vehicle was being driven unsafely as he tried to perform a traffic stop. The driver reportedly ignored the sirens and lights and kept driving.
