The caregiver for an elderly deaf man in Tennessee was accused of becoming frustrated with her patient and allegedly throwing a pot of boiling water at him leaving him with second and third-degree burns.

According to reports, late in the evening on January 21, a 45-year-old woman who has worked as a caregiver for 15 years was taking care of her patient in a group home in Memphis. The elderly man is hearing impaired, in addition to having diagnoses of schizophrenia and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The patient was boiling water in a pot so he could prepare noodles, and the caregiver, who was allegedly angry, reportedly told him to leave the kitchen and go to the living room.

The man did as she asked, but the woman was reportedly still upset. She allegedly grabbed the pot, in which the water was now boiling, and threw it at her patient. The police report says the man had severe burns on “his face, shoulder, and right side of his back.”

A mother and her 1-year-old were admitted to intensive care with near-fatal injuries reportedly caused by the child’s father when he allegedly viciously attacked them.

29-year-old Pierre Gabriel Francois and his 22-year-old girlfriend Aliza Walker have been together for approximately 4-years. The couple has a 1-year-old daughter named Leianna.

On December 12, Francois, who is diagnosed with schizophrenia, was in his family home with his girlfriend and child. Francois’ mother was at the residence as well.

A Massachusetts teenager reportedly took a bite of a gas station clerk’s cheek and proceed to play in the bloody aftermath in front of the customers until the authorities arrived.

Late Monday night, Scott Trainor, 55, was working his shift at a Sunoco gas station when a local man who regularly shops at the convenience market came in.

19-year-old Joel Davila, who said that Trainor often allows him to take beverages when he doesn’t have money, made an attempt to grab a bottled drink when the clerk stepped in. Trainor blocked Davila’s access to the cooler with his arm and the situation allegedly turned confrontational.

A man who believes he is Jesus Christ called 911 on Wednesday morning to report that he had illegally entered a local Pizza Hut because he was hungry after returning to earth from heaven.

46-year-old Richard Lee Quintero arrived at the High Point, North Carolina, location of Pizza Hut in the pre-dawn hours on Wednesday morning. Quintero, who regards himself as Jesus Christ, allegedly shattered a door window to get into the restaurant and sat down to enjoy a pizza and Mountain Dew.

Afterward, Quintero placed a call to 911 to let them know that he was back on earth and wanted to tell them what he had done.
