A Florida teen is facing legal consequences after allegedly shooting a flare gun onto a private school’s soccer field in the middle of a match.

On November 21, players from the Falcons, Saint Stephens Episcopal School’s soccer team, went up against the Panthers from Bradenton Christian School. While it did not stop the home team from winning the match, an incident occurred during the game that exposed the players to danger and caused over $1,000 in damage to the field.

People were watching the game and cheering for their teams, and one group, who were not students at Saint Stephens, was reportedly acting extremely rowdy. It was reported that they began making so much of a commotion that they were disturbing others, and they were asked to leave the premises. They complied with the order, and they walked back to the vehicle in which they arrived, which was parked at a nearby restaurant across the street from the school.

A Manchester University student with a “dark sense of humor” was arrested after allegedly sending students text messages containing gun emojis and threats.

On November 6, several students at Manchester University in North Manchester, Indiana reportedly received threatening text messages from someone they believed was their 23-year-old fellow attendee. In addition to threats to physically harm or shoot them on campus, the messages reportedly contained gun emojis. According to reports, the woman also made verbal comments to the students that were interpreted as threats to shoot them in class.

Some of the students began reporting the situation to the school in emails, and they said they felt vulnerable to potential gun violence since the campus was not secure enough for them to believe they would be protected in the event of a dangerous incident. They also said that many students chose not to come forward because they feared they would put themselves at greater risk if they reported the situation. Screenshots of some of the allegedly threatening text messages were attached to the emails.

A Minnesota man is facing multiple charges for reacting violently to his girlfriend ending their relationship by allegedly crashing her car and shooting at the police.

On the evening of September 21, a 23-year-old man was riding as a passenger while his girlfriend was driving. During the ride, the woman told the man she did not want to date him anymore. He reportedly did not take the news well and allegedly yanked on the steering wheel which caused the vehicle to crash.

Minnesota State Police troopers went to the scene, and when they arrived, the man allegedly had a gun and started shooting at the law enforcement officers. One of the police vehicles was hit with a bullet, but the trooper was not physically injured. When backup police arrived, the suspect allegedly fired more shots in their direction.

A Florida man in a surgical mask was caught by the police following a near-getaway after allegedly stealing thousands of pills in an alleged armed robbery of a pharmacy.

At approximately 6:00 p.m. on October 20, a man wearing a surgical mask and a hat walked into a CVS Pharmacy in Orlando.

He reportedly approached the clerk at the counter and handed them a note. The writing on the piece of paper allegedly said to give him all bottles of Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Xanax, Adderall, Liquid codeine/promethazine, and Viagra they had in stock. The note reportedly specified that he would shoot the person closest to him if the pharmacy workers did not meet his demands. He added that after they filled a bag with the medications and the note, they were to lay on the ground, or he would shoot.

A Florida man with 139 prior felonies who was wanted on a parole violation was arrested after allegedly smashing a car through a condominium, removing his ankle monitor, and diving out the window of an apartment he reportedly burglarized.

At approximately 4:00 am on June 11, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office was notified by 911 informing them that many people had called to report an ongoing incident at the Sandalwood Apartments in Wildwood. According to the callers, a car had smashed into the building, and the driver was breaking into the units in the building.

The authorities rushed to the scene, and they learned the man trapped himself in an apartment on the second floor. Police attempted to coax him outside, but the man refused. Members of SCSO S.W.A.T. and a crisis negotiation team arrived, and they spent several hours trying to de-escalate the situation.

A man in North Carolina was arrested after a 6-hour standoff for allegedly holding people hostage in a residence and threatening to shoot them.

According to reports, around 3:00 AM on May 21, the Spindale Police Department was notified about gunshots that were believed to have been fired inside a home.

Officers were dispatched to the address, and when they got there someone told them that there were people, including children, that were still inside the house with the suspect. They were informed that the suspect allegedly intended to shoot any law enforcement that came to the residence.

A Florida man allegedly tried to rape a woman at gunpoint, and she told him that he would have to “shoot her first” if he expected her to do what he asked. 

On February 10, a woman and her boyfriend were on a camping trip in Pineview Park on Merritt Island. 

It was reported that a man walked up to their tent and told them to come outside.

A heavily intoxicated man wielding a knife was arrested after a woman called 911 to protect herself, and he refused to cooperate with the responding law enforcement.  

Early in the morning on February 7, a female homeowner had a male guest at her house. It was reported that he consumed a lot of alcohol and had been acting erratically for several hours. 

The man had allegedly been starting arguments with the woman and verbally harassing her for much of the prior evening. His aggression reportedly escalated, and he allegedly grabbed a knife.

On November 4, a 40-year-old woman from Melrose, Montana was at the Travelodge by Wyndham in Pocatello, Indiana.  

The woman went into the lobby, and she was reportedly holding a gun. 

Her hand was bleeding, and she called the authorities to tell them she accidentally shot herself. She also allegedly informed them that she would shoot anyone who tried to approach her.

A 17-year-old girl in Texas reportedly used a BB gun to threaten her male friend while three children were in the vehicle with them because she vehemently objected to going to Walmart. 

On October 25, a 17-year-old girl and her 20-year-old male friend drove to Walmart in Brownsville in a van with three children and a male passenger. 

It was reported that the woman’s 20-year-old companion wanted to go into the store, but she was completely against the idea. The pair allegedly began to fight over the shopping trip.
